There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Honestly looks tough to me. Louisville and Miami are two teams id rather stay away from. Meanwhile OSU got the 2 seed in Gonzagas bracket. If that ends up being the true value of this game than it is a big loss.

You are crazy. Louisville is the last team I want in our region.
Mia, UL and Wisky? No bueno. Not to mention ND 2 round even though it'd be cool to play them.
Thankfully Lunardi doesn't actually select the official brackets. If Gonzaga's so damn great, then why is Saint Mary's an 11 seed? I also don't like Lunardi's boner for creating potential rematches in the brackets (i.e. Miami vs. MSU).
Probably the one if the worst of the four. I don't see how it's good to you lol.

UM to Salt Lake?
WTF is so great about that? Today's loss is really going to hurt if it means o$u gets to go west and play Gonzaga.

would sleepwalk to a final four.

MSU and OSU are both deserving of a 2 seed. Played in the toughest conference, both ranked in the top 10. Duke and Georgetown go down in their conference tournaments and still stay 2 seeds? Shenanigans!
First thing you looked at?
I suspect the OP is confused. Or hasn't watched much basketball this year.
Gonzaga has an RPI of 7 with 6 top 50 wins, St. Marys has an RPI of 33 with 1 top 50 win. That's probably why.
this. and Miami as the 2? that's EASILY the toughest of the four regions if that were to come to pass. egads.
We want the West 3 so we can be in Gonzaga's bracket. That would also give us a shot at New Mexico on the 2 line. Those are the two AH options.
I do think, however, that if Louisville wins tonight they get the Indy 1, which would knock IU over to D.C. Even if KU wins they won't move them from the 2 so they can stay in Kansas City with K State.
Please put Michigan in auburn hills I need something to do with my Thursday session tickets
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Yeah, I love Gunson's positive attitude, but that bracket compared to others is pretty tough. The Duke region, with a struggling Kansas team as a 2, a fraud in New Mexico as a 3 and high seends like UM, Zona and Pitt looks a lot more appealing.
But as others have said repeatedly, I don't think Lunardi has any particular insight into actual matchups - just seeding and whether teams are in or out.
But whenever the talking heads are trying to justify Gonzaga's #1 seed, they reference how they swept St. Mary's as proof. Gonzaga also got waxed by Illinois, the 8th seed in the Big 10 tournament.
That looks like a nightmare. Louisville, Butler, Miami, f-ing Wisconsin, Notre Dame...it's like a who's who of teams I would rather avoid.
I haven't even gotten around to seeing where he has MSU...I just keep staring at UM.
Agree, it's seems like the B1G love has ratcheted down heavily right when we don't need it to.
You know who also got waxed by Illinois? OSU. Illinois was playing good basketball back then. They were fresh, so their 3s were going in.
To be fair I'm pretty sure the OP just looked at being in Auburn Hills and didn't look at the actual teams who are projected in our bracket.
Just saw scUM vs. Akron in SLC PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!!
With the way things have gone this year, do you really think all those teams will come out?
We win first 2 rounds.
Probably play Miami and we can beat them.
I agree that Louisville might be the toughest, but that is the only problem. Then again, ND beat them and I think we beat ND.
I honestly don't want to be in Puke's or Indiana's bracket.
Then to be fair, this would be a stupid thread.
Terrible. That is a brutal bracket. Do not want.
