KMart played well.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Curse of Bobby Layne and Drew Stanton strike again. LOL!

Bang! 4 straight possessions inside the 45 after the Bell TD and ZERO points. He'll, zero yards.
"If you have the right to be offended I have the right to offend you." - Ricky Gervais
Every replay of nearly every Det O play showed a WR or TE open. The passing game was easily available, including the safe short game. And just because watt batted one down, you still have the pass to Bell out of the backfield. No idea what schwartz was thinking.
0-5 unless teams are resting starters in the last few games.

my Cards are awful. The Lions will beat them.
On top of that, its the LIONS! What the hell do they have to lose??
On the flip side
If the Lions pass on that 3rd down and take a sack (which Stafford did twice before) they could've been pushed out of FG range
Oh the parallel's to MSU football- play calling. The failed expectations theme raises it's 'ugly head'. The drive to tie the game before regulation pretty much set the tone. Game of inches, make the play... whatever you want to label it- way too common. That's 10 consecutive T-Giving losses. Lion's have a way of losing in style... I guess.
Dantonio's prediction- I hope he's correct. Win- he's brilliant. Lose- not so much. I'd feel better if it was a home game. Saturday's game will be a.... ' wait for it' moment. Hope he's right.
nonsense. they are already being assessed a 15 yard penalty - which is ridiculous in its own right since delay of game is a 5 yarder any other time - and all the ref has to do is pick up the flag and say "don't worry about it...it's being reviewed already". It's not delaying anyone from anything. It's a totally nonsensical and illogical rule that is counter-intuitive to what SHOULD be the essential mandate: GET THE CALL RIGHT. There is no reason to not review a play like that.
All of which is besides the point, because the entire world could see he was down as it happened in the first fucking place!!
Yup, they decided to go conservative, and lost.
How about call a quick throw play? if its incomplete its incomplete. Passing brought them to that point.
Couldn't agree more on the first part of your post.
But I don't agree with that last sentence. I would guess about 95% of the people watching the game were not sure whether he was down until they showed the replay.
Let's be honest. It's not like the Lion's were going to win the rest of the games just to make the play offs. I just wanted to see them break the nine game losing streak on Thanksgiving. Listening to the comments of Suh's kick to Schaub and continued display of unsportsmanlike play sets the tone for the season. A kick in the nuts... or 'painful'.
Lions got screwed big time.
As a Bills fan I feel your pain.
This. Born and raised in Detroit, but Ive never seen such a loser franchise, ever. I watch, but dont care. Entertainment. Today didn't disappoint.
We lost our Super Bowl again. Rat farts. Oh well, time to continue bottoming out to ensure another high draft pick.
