Apparently this new deep dish is the result of many months of development work in the new test kitchen located deep within Comerica Park. I used to like their current deep dish when it first came out, but its horrible now. This new pie seems to be a knock off of the Jets 8 Corner, which is a pretty good pizza to emulate.
For Michigan folks, an upgrade of a traditional Detroit-style pan pizza -- square pie, crunchy outer crust, chewy in the middle -- may not seem like an earthshaking event. But to Dave Scrivano, president and CEO of Little Caesars Pizza, Monday's nationwide rollout of the new Deep!Deep! Dish pizza product is huge. Gigantic. Colossal.
That's disappointing, I like their current deep dish. Looks like I know what I am getting for dinner tonight.
"Come and take them"
Is Papa John still around? I'd like to hear his thoughts on this new development
I don't know what to think of this since I liked their current one. As long as you still get free bread sticks with one then I don't really care though.
Well, apparently it's 10% larger than the old Deep Dish, so I guess it's only 30 cents more than the old one.
Little Caesars screwed themselves when they went the discount $5 hot and ready route. It wasn't very good before that, but by going that route, they kept themselves from ever becoming more than that.
Now they're just drunk food like taco bell.

Are these Hot n Ready, or made-to-order?
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
So? Taco Bell is a hugely profitable business.
Little Caesars was dying before they introduced Hot-'n-Ready. Now they are the fastest growing pizza chain in the world. Yes, they play on the value side of the spectrum, but there is a huge demand for $5 and $8 pizzas. You can eat yourself into a food coma for half the price of ordering from Domino's or Papa John's and it's certainly not only half as good. In fact, I'm a huge fan of Little Caesars. There's something about the spiciness of the sauce that I really like.
Hot-'n-Ready. Of course, if you want a fresh one, order something other than just pepperoni or cheese.
Isn't the point of fast food to be cheap and quick.
I really like Little Caesar's. And when I'm going there I'm not expecting gourmet pizza. For $5 it is a great value for my tastes.
Edit: And apparently this makes me a stupid American.

Sure they were dying before. My point is that instead of creating a better product to get better, they just lowered the price of their already shitty product and went even cheaper on the quality side of things.
They capitalized on stupid America because they know that there are idiots that will eat anything as long as the price is right no matter how bad it is. As you said quantity is more important than quality for these kinds of people.
They already released it in Wixom, where I live. Tried it Friday. I loved the old deep dish but I have to say this deep dish is worth the extra dollar. It's pretty good.
Nucky will be unveiling a new username today, as well. Oh wait, he just did.

Well, screw them for figuring out a way to make it work. Effing jerks!
We should round these kinds of people up into camps.

What does it compare to?
You'll never take away my FREEDOM!!!
Hard to compare it to anything because at that price point Little Caesars will almost always be inferior compared to Jets or something like that, but it's like 2 medium sized pizzas since there are corners on every slice. It's at least worth a try. Always get Little Caesars pizza with buffalo ranch sauce.
Agreed, I've noticed people on the internet hate Little Caesar's but everyone in real life seems to love it.
When I bring 4-5 pizzas (only $25 as opposed to $50 for somewhere else) to a poker night everyone gobbles it up. Yet behind a computer I'd guess 1 out 10 people admits to liking Little Caesars.
Agree their sauce is pretty good. Never had their deep dish. Think I'll give it a try this week
Any get together gets Little Caesars from me. Love the value and no one complains. There are most definitely better pies out there, but not for the value.
I fucking love little ceasars. Large ham and pineapple with extra cheese, garlic sauce, and parmesan cheese. You can chow my bag if you're butthurt over my taste in cheap pizza.
Thats the point...Look at Dominos. They've tried to reinvent themselves and get "better" and they still suck.
I hope you don't own a business

I love the deep dish Hot and Ready. For seven bucks, it's two full meals, and it's pretty good pizza to boot. I'm a college student, I don't have fourteen bucks to drop on dinner.
