WTF does that mean? Brown is the idiot in this scenario no doubt.
As much as Scott Mitchell sucked, you just don't do this. Lomas Brown should be ashamed.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
The sad thing about this story is the lack of firestorm by the press to burn Lomas to the ground. This is so pathetic and the NFL should make that fat fucker apologize on a national level. The leagues' PR is in the toilet as it is, so it may as well start trying to change its image by demanding this be done.
And hey, Kevin Glover, if your out there, and have any dignity AT ALL,come out and blast this overrated piece of shit for what he did.
THIS TIMES A MILLION. THIS DICK SHOULD PAY FOR HIS OWN PENSION WITH WHATEVER MONEY HE MAKES WITH HIS SMOOTHIE OPERATION.
I believe you meant to post, at least we now know he was an overpaid dumbass.
I guess the "brotherhood" is just that.....
Wow people have short memories.
The fact is, Scott Mitchell sucked. On top of that, the guy was the 2nd douchiest athlete I've ever met. First was Desmond Howard.
Lomas is a hero IMO. I respect him for being man enough to admit it and yet again raise awareness of how lucky Detroit is to actually have a talented QB right now.
I don't think anyone is claiming otherwise about Mitchell. However there are certain things you don't do as an athlete (much less as a teammate). Letting a teammate get injured on purpose is bush league. Later suing your professional league because they didn't do enough to protect you when you openly admitted to doing the same makes you a hypocritical pos.
Very true. Depends on if there's more to the story. If he only wanted Mitchell hurt because he sucked, probably not a good enough reason. If it was for more personal reasons, I don't blame him.
I can just picture Scott Mitchell being the biggest douche ever as a teammate. If that was the case I really can't blame Lomas, although you're right he really has no argument about suing the NFL for not protecting players enough.
You either have totally missed the boat on the subject OR, you are just like Lomas: An Ahole.
Who gives a shit about Mitchell and his personality? This is about teammates being paid a shitload of $$$$$ to succeed as a team. And the very guy who led the team to the playoffs the previous year with some gaudy numbers is sacrificed because a greedy dickhead of a tackle , who sat out of training camp for more $$$$ , decides to be
GOD and allows him to get smoked, causing a broken wrist? Are you even thinking about this ??????
Lomas was efficient for a few years, but became a pile later on...........and if he would have just shut up about this , kept it to himself, most people would have just blamed it on another missed block by the slob..... oh well, Lomas , I hope the NFL does follow up on this. And fuck espenis for once again hiring another lispy piece of garbage.
When is the round table of Lomas , Jailin,Wob,Skippy and Webber anyway?
Nope.....not buying it. Still think this shows what an ASSHOLE Scott Mitchell was.
And he made that decision 9 games into Mitchell's run with the Lions? I notice Lomas never mentioned anything about the following season. That's probably because Detroit made the playoffs.
Lomas Brown is a jackass and should lose all respect.
His TV persona is a joke.
A hero? He admitted it 18 years later!!!
He called someone "white trash." If a white dude called someone "black trash," he would be out of a career.
this is being reported as brown allowing mitchell to get hurt, which i don't think was the intent. what he did was allow mitchell to get sacked, who then sprained his vagina.
Not surprising, Lions seem to play less like a sports team and more like a bunch of union workers showing up on a construction project.
