Haters gonna hate!
Sounds about right to me. Either way, just win the games and rankings are irrelevant.

Ilinois is in a freefall.
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Interesting that scUM got a first place vote. Who the hell is Cormac Gordon?
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
#18 vs #11 6pm Saturday at the bres
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
The next 5 home games are against ranked opponents. The entire team needs to play well at the same time.
He works for Advance Publications (SI Advance). So what if he voted scUM #1. They still could be #1 even after the loss because they lost on the road to OSU and Duke lost to NC State who is lower ranked than OSU and Michigan already beat NC State.

I guess he is the only voter that agrees with you then
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Except teams historically don't lose and get rewarded with a #1 ranking.
Any retractions today on who has #1 seeds.
No, he's right. Someone with a loss has to be #1. Louisville lost to Duke, but they're #1. Indiana lost to unranked Butler on a neutral court and they're #2. Hell, Kansas lost to lowly MSU! :) That all makes less sense to me than Michigan #1.
Losing on the road to #15 is better than losing at home to #20. Plus Michigan has played an extra game. Plus Kelly is out. I don't agree with the vote, but I don't think it's completely crazy.

Weird title for this thread...
Duke also lost to NC State on the road. Michigan beat NC State at home and Duke beat OSU at home when they were ranked #4.
How is Illinois still ranked?
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
They were @ NCSU. Not at Durham.
OSU will have had 6 days off by the time we play. We played after their game yesterday, then have to go to PSU Wednesday, while they sit at home.
Hopefully, the game in Happy Valley is in our control early, so we can rest some guys.
I wonder who beat Kansas....
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Throw the schedule out the window. Every team has to play on less than desirable rest at multiple points throughout the conference schedule.
A conference champion beats OSU at home on Saturday.
I would love it if we could get a big lead against PSU and rest some guys like Appling and Harris in particular. However, I would not bet on it with this team. If we couldn't put Nebraska without their best player to bed early, or Oakland U for that matter, I don't see us doing it against Penn State on the road.

Yep. It's about time for this team to put a complete game together. Can't have our guards disappear just when Nix and Payne put together a nice effort. Dawson needs to keep the intensity level up. With all the pieces in place working properly we are a hell of team. Without it we're just a shiny dick with no balls.
You're in college. The window of opportunity to drink and do drugs and take advantage of young girls is getting smaller by the day.
No specific team here but im going to assume the winner of the big 10 tourney (barring upset city of course) will get a 1 seed. Conference strength is real good unlike football.
Uconn, Boise and Miami are all receiving votes. They are all potentially a good week away from being top 25 teams, and KU is up to 4. We also have a chance to beat the current number 11 team. Our RPI is on the rise...
Pulling for UCONN to knock off #1 at home tonight. Sure to be ranked if they can pull it off.
