Well, so much for that...
We saw Louisville in March last year, and we know their defense is stellar. This year they have improved the offense and defense! They are solid. I wouldn't want to see them again anytime soon. Although, I would love for Izzo to beat Patino in a final four (again)!
Izzo has beaten Dick Bennett, Billy Donovan and Jim Calhoun in the Final Four
Haters gonna hate!
KUsports.com is the ultimate site for those who bleed Crimson and Blue. Updated constantly, it is the definitive source on the Internet for the latest information on the Kansas Jayhawks, including the largest site on the Web dedicated to KU men's basketball.
Haters gonna hate!
IN the Final Four
Not to get to the Final Four
Elite Eight game; Regional final
That Uconn loss is really MSUs only bad loss.
Miami is a top 5 team in the country and Minnesota is always tough to beat at minn.
Izzo shouldn't go big against fast teams for long.
He can get away with it against teams like Kansas and Wisconsin who are bigger and play slower but against team like Uconn and Indiana it is tough.
Miami top 5?
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
They are #3 in RPI with the #1 SOS. Still undefeated in the ACC. They had a bad loss to Florida Gulf Coast the 2nd game of the year which is probably hurting them (and then back to back losses to Arizona and Indiana State). However, when all starters play (are healthy), they're undefeated.
Simply having 3 losses is hurting them now. If they keep rolling they'll move up from #14 in the AP, and #15 USA Today coaches poll. Ohio State, Louisville and MSU are all slightly ahead of Miami with 4 losses each.
If they continue to rack up wins in a down ACC, they'll move up, since the B1G has so many games left against eachother. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them a 2 seed when it's all said and done.
I like where your heart's at, kid.
I'm not so sure about top 5... we'll have to see what happens down the stretch in ACC play. They're definitely a top-10 team though.
Looks like kansas fans are pulling a bucky and getting shirts for a #1 ranking. Blue bloods my ass. Rankings are mostly meaningless, especially in January. This isn't the BCS, voters don't decide this championship. *cough* Notre Dame would never have sniffed a title game if there was a playoff *cough*
Since we beat KU a while ago and they are no 1, that must mean we're totally the best!
We also beat the team that beat scUM. And if we win on thurs we'll have beat the team that beat the team that beat scUM. And if Wisky wins tonight we'll have beat the team that beat the team that beat scUM. We also beat KU who beat O$U who beat scUM. We also lost by less @ Miami than did duke, who beat o$U, who beat scUM. We also beat two teams, who beat Illy, who beat O$U, who beat scum.
Basically, we're the #1 team in the country.
Your post makes me want to beat Kevin Bacon.
Pretty sure that was sarcasm.
I also don't really understand why someone linked that thread with the post "Haters gonna hate". I don't really see a lot of hate going on in it.
This is a strange thread all around.
Submit this to the Grand Council. We'll be ranked number 1 in the blink of an eye and also get an unprecedented 5 byes in the tourney.
Guys, in football, we also beat Minnesota, who beat syracuse, who beat louisville, who beat florida, who beat TAMU, who beat bama.
So we're basically national champions there too.
Roushar knew what he was doing all along!
MSU can play with anyone in the country on a neutral court and they demonstrated that by beating Kansas.
Too bad they couldn't finish off Indiana.
Winning the B1G is going to be an uphil climb now IMO.
They need to beat either UM or OSU on the road now I think if they lose both of them I think they won't get it. 4 losses should be the max at a share this year.
They really need to develop Valentine if they want to go deep into march and or win the B1G.
With Kearney gone I think he is the missing piece.
I guess winning all their home games and winning at Nebraska and Purdue won't get them to 14-4. Last time I checked my math, it will.
I should have said 3 losses. If Michigan wins all of their home games and beats Wisconsin in Madison they will only have 3 losses.
4 losses might be one too many.
Might come down to that game.
Or if MSU can split the @OSU and @UM games.
