My sources say it was Dan Dakich who called the police. He also saw Branden Dawson throw a punch at a pizza box.
If there's free food involved, Hondo is on it.
I smell another Rather Hall-esqe story coming in the Detroit newspapers tomorrow.
People on twitter are saying that they didn't have a problem with the pizza, the problem was with unauthorized use of the MSU logo on the tshirts. Just a rumor though.
They wouldn't need to bother with this if they got rid of the festival seating arrangement
Hondo Carpenter @HondoCarpenter
As part of my investigative reporting, I have consumed 4 of the pizzas on the scene. Will wait to look into subs and wings as needed.
is there a pic of the shirt? what did it say?
No idea, just saw some tweets about them having the MSU logo on there & that's what the problem was. I'll post a pic if I can find one.
I get the humor here, but this is the last thing Dakich would do. If he was calling the game like he normally would for a Super Tuesday, he would have been praising the MSU fans who bought all the food. You also gotta remember he was a college head coach, so he would have loved it.

Called MSU licensing & trademark office Want 2 know if they called Police on alum, largest TIX holder & Major donor w/out even calling them?
laconophilia is everywhere...
Why would I hand out tshirts with the MSU logo on it? For all they know I was going to hand out white tshirts to make sure everyone was going to cooperate with the "white out"
Looks like Tritron saw how much screen time the "YOU OFF" shirts got last week and tried to load the Izzone up with ads for his company.
I can't post a pic from my phone, but the shirt is MSU's Pro Combat colors with a liquid metal looking hoodie, has the old, new, and shot down logos on it, says "Forks down, bitches!" on the front, and "The MSU Administration can suck my scrotum!" on the back. Ticketmachine.com runs the length of the sleeves. I'm not really sure what the big deal is.

He just threw the delivery guy away with his right arm.
Just saying what I read on Twitter. I think it's great that you provided pizza & white shirts to everyone. Pic of the shirts?
Nix was also there but could only punch with his left hand.
What a missed marketing opportunity for Barnes. If he had tRCMB t-shirts ready we could have passed them out with the food and gotten mad screen time during the broadcast.
In their defense, they called him and told him not to do it when they found out. They're not pressing charges or anything. And he is using their trademarked material.
Being the largest tix holder isn't really a badge of honor. He holds them to sell them. It's not like it's some benevolent act out of the goodness of his heart.
How the fuq would they know what the tshirts were going to say/ be ?
It's certainly no Bruce Springsteen concert...
Ed Hightower says: "Stop those pizzas! Or I'll tee you up!"
I most certainly am not using their trademarked material. Where did you get that?
