Honestly, these guys are delusional. They are laying it all on Beilein and saying Izzo would have Michigan undefeated if he was their coach.
Trey Burke is the only player on their roster who could start for us, seriously! These fools are drinking some strange koolaid down there. I would not take THJ over Harris based on defense and consistency. Dawson easily brings more to the table than Stauskus. Payne is a dominant big man versus Robinson who is timid, and can't get his own shot. Nix is about 5 times more talented than Morgan. I'd honestly take Denzel Valentine over any of their freshman right now. Bitch McGary would be getting less than 5 minutes a game if he played for us.
We've got 3 McDonald's AAs, they've got zero. We've got 4 five star players, they've got 1. We've got 3 Mr. Basketballs, they've got 1. Is Hash bash this weekend or something because those fools have to be smoking something?
It's UM, what do you expect?
I thought they hated Izzo?
I think we have 2x more talented players and 288x more talented coach.
Imagine if we had equal talent. We would have beaten them by 100 a couple weeks ago.
The latest buzz phrase they are using, from Shep and MGB, is "we have 6 NBA players". Burke, Hardaway, and Robinson I can see. McGary, probably. Stauskas, well, unless he's playing Binghamton in the NBA, sorry. I honestly don't know who they think the 6th is. Morgan? Um, no. Caris LeVert? Really?
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.

I doubt that they would be undefeated, but I definitely think they would have a better record if Izzo was their coach.
How do you figure?
Spike god damn it. It's Spike who is the 6th player.
Don't you people watch basketball. Stockton is Albrecht lite
They drak the koolaid, and so did a lot of announcers. Trey Burke is a fantastic talent, Tim Hardaway might stick in the NBA, and Geln Robinson might develop into an NBA player, that's it for them. They are a talented team, but I don't think they have a top 10 talented roster. In fact, man for man, they are no better than the 4th most talented roster and maybe the 5th. Us, IU, OSU are easily more talented top to bottom than scUM. Minnesota is close.
Because he is a big, strong kid. He's huge. BJ Mullens got drafted. That's why. Not saying he'll stick.
McGary is not getting drafted, period. He'll be 24 years old by the time he enters the draft and he still wont be any more coordinated. NBA drafts on potetial and a kid 24 has already shown most of his.
McGary would be sharing minutes with Matt Costello on our roster.
If he develops 1 or 2 decent post moves I can maybe see it. He'll probably get a shot just based off size
In that case Izzo is 1000% more of a coach than B-LINE is.
Shit, man. I was saying that even after they were talking about their super awesome recruiting class last year. It's just like in football. Even though you are signing a good class, you need to compare it to what is around you. Michigan's class, while good, was still not as good as Indiana's or MSU's in totality, but somehow they were going to kick everyone's ass. In football, they are being outrecruited by OSU and and the top of the SEC on the reg, but they are going to win national titles. Everything that Michigan does is in a vacuum.
I recall a thread that MGoBlog had several years ago that might be the best example of the delusion of UM fans. It started as an article by the main mod over there when they were looking for a new AD. He said the very first question that an AD candidate should be asked is to name the top 5 football and basketball coaches in the country. He went on to say that any AD candidate that didn't have B_____ and DickRod in their top 5 shouldn't be hired.
That thread had dozens of people agreeing with the statement. It was hilarious. It really is hard to imagine a fanbase that is more out of touch with reality, or less knowledgeable about sports in general.
Yeah there's a difference between getting drafted and being a "NBA player"
Lot of guys get drafted and don't even sniff the league
They would play better defense. That's for sure.
NBA have an age limit? 21 year old freshman

Michigan sucks with three guys that would likely be first-rounders on their team. (Burke, GRIII, Hardaway)
Imagine how bad they'll be next year after those three turn pro.
I don't think Hardaway has the mental toughness to stick in the NBA. He is prone to prolonged shooting droughts and tends to disappear from a lot of games, especially when things aren't going his way. Compare him to Darius Morris (I know, they play different guard positions). Hardaway has more talent, but Morris always seemed so poised when he was on the floor. Consequently, Morris has been able to stick as a role player on a big-time team like the Lakers, despite not being able to make a shot outside of 15 feet

i see what you just did there
Hardaway is also an average athlete for a 2 guard. I know he's a plus athlete in college, but to play guard in the NBA you have to be able to guard some athletic freaks.
That explains the suckage.
It's not enough to bash in heads, you have to bash in minds.
Who are "these guys"? And why do you care what "these guys" say?
