Yea they are! I don't cre if they were picke to win the ACC they have sucked so far this year and didn't look very good tonight even,
We looked awful tonight but it's not the end of the world. They should win their next few games up to the Texas game and we can use that as the next barometer of their progress.
You don't need to zone us to defend us well. Miami played one possession of zone and we tore it apart.
I'm just stating a fact. Go to the thread and read it.
wow, we are bad.
Quone, to quone something. Like a patient gets difficult you quone them.
Don't know why they should be tired but the announcers mentioned it a couple of times.
Whatever, this team doesn't have an identity yet and really needs to work on it's defense, communication and shooting.
Nίκη για MSU
How about losing to the Number 4 team in the ACC, like we just did?
For the love of Trevor...™
They rushed the court, Jim! They rushed the court when they shouldn't have.
Serious though... I know this is basketball... but I'm not a fan of these types of losses (lose the game after leading at halftime). That said, the teams that win against MSU usually end up being good (e.g. Boise State is winning against Creighton as we speak).
Edit: Respect to Miami though, they should at least be middle of the pack in the ACC.

Without their PG
still waiting. Where do you coach?
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day.
And yet no IP ban for him game thread after game thread..
We saw a lot of Nix and Payne on the court together. We saw a shitty performance, what a surprise.
Miami had 4 starters in double figures and went 16 for 18 in FT's. MSU was 5 for 11 in FT's.
Lost by 8 and lost in FT's by 11.
you gotta mouse in yer pocket?
they're not a bottom feeder but whatever
hmmm, you're an idiot, but carry on anyway (nothing personal ).

The ACC is generally shit this year, so yeah.
Edit: Except Duke, of course.

Miami hedged really well on our ball screens and we didn't exploit that move. Tough game to watch.
those people would be figments of your imagination. Some of us are simply rational adults who know that we aren't going to win every game - especially in November - that we have a lot of young guys and Izzo is still messing around trying to find a line up he's comfortable with. Add our best player coming off an injury and our most important reserve doing the same and there's not a whole lot to be terribly upset about.
Unless you are a miserable piece of shit.
Miami was picked to be an NCAA tournament team based on the talent they have. That talent played up to their potential tonight and then some. MSU did not respond to a team playing well at home. Tough loss, but they will be fine.
True. But the total lack of an inside game is a huge problem. Thought Payne would be really good this year but seems to have regressed. Nix is just too slow.
The moment is eternal
I hope he tears something that ends his career.
Oh well. I'm over it. We'll be fine.
And you sound like a whiney bitch who gets frustrated for the same 3 weeks out of the year before conference play starts, leading to our eventual NCAA berth, and subsequent run to the elite 8.
It's the same fucking story every year, and every year we have a group of pimpled overweight couch coaches who suddenly think they have all the answers. Guess what? You don't, and even though you may question him from time to time, the guy calling the shots has proven himself time and time again and stepped up and answered the call.
Worst. Fanbase. In college sports.
Good ole self loathing Spartans.
Absolutely and annoyingly pathetic.
lol, I think most of the posters who show up for these game threads are
the last option...
