Poster Overreacting Dan and I were at Georgio's Downtown getting a slice. We turn out heading towards Hop Cat and pass Idong Ibok. We run back and grab a picture with him.
He is going to be in the Alumni game on Friday. I think he was more shocked he was recognized and someone asked for his photo.
I hope he gets to inbound the ball for the wrong team Friday.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Saw him and Travis Walton at Ucellos of all places while I was watching the State bball game. Not sure why they would be in GR

The Donger and Travis Walton were in GR doing some coaching of a 5th grade bball team at MVP Fieldhouse. A buddy of mine, whose son plays on the team, had dinner with them at Uccello's afterwards (I would have joined, but I was out of town). Idunk Iblock lives in GR now and works at Spectrum Health.

The 28th street one?
Yep. They got there after the game was done
One of my favorite MSU athlete stories.
So I'm doing orientation, you know the thing where you go up there for a night and you make your freshman year schedule and all that. Well I'm in the Brody Caf and I've got to pee. Head into the bathroom, someone's got the urinal by the wall so I skip one over and take urinal 3. Apparently, Idong Ibok and Goran Suton were walking into the bathroom right behind me, and they ended up surrounding me, peeing at urinals 2 and 4. I kept my eyes focused forward, and I never looked down, but I'll tell you it was an intimadating situation, if one of them would have turned towards me he would've hit me in the shoulder.
I know, its like Idong has the the old "this is not the ball you want" thing going on.
Between him and Thornton, they're taking all of our bit players.
Did you tell him about us? Did you give him our URL? Maybe he'll log in on Christmas Eve! Every year, on the night before Christmas, we sexless internet dorks hang around tRCMB, hoping for a visit from one of the Spartans we talk about all year long. It doesn't matter which one; we're just looking for some validation that we're not stranded on the internet island of misfit Spartans.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx
Ibok works at Spectrum and works with a guy named Roger who is the Chief Human Resources officer. Roger is also the head coach of the Northern Trails 5/6 team. And Travis being friends with Idong...well, you can see how Travis ended up in GR with both of them coaching the game.
Did you tap a foot? How wide was your stance?

"We'll play anyone, anyplace, anytime!" - Tom Izzo
So the Donger, Thornton and Walton all live in GR? Cool. If I run into Thornton I'll ask him if he thinks he's better than Byrd.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
I don't believe Walton does, but I could be mistaken.
Man I miss having Walton on the squad. In regards to the GR thing it looks like on his Twitter he says he's been running bball clinics for kids in GR and Lansing.
