If we run the table at home, that was one of the two road wins we needed to have a shot at a B1G title.
Once again in B1G BB, two entire different halves. Let them play the 1st half, call everything on MSU 2nd half. Tired of this old act.
Thank God the Vadgers were horrible from the stripe tonight.
Interesting mix of contenders for the B1G title in hoops. MSU and IU who look to pound it inside more than the rest, scUM, tOSU, Vadgers and Minnesota who are perimeter teams and will live or die by outside shooting.
I was very impressed by our defense tonight, might have been the best defensive performance of the season so far.
I'll enjoy this win as much as anyone, but this was a gift. Not saying they didn't play hard, but Wisky missed 11 free throws and lost by 2. Our guys benefitted from almost freakishly bad FT shooting. Most nights, this would have been an L. But I'm happy.
2010, I believe that game was Dion SIms's only appearance for the basketball team.
Did the Vadgers flop at all tonight?
Do you even have to ask? That carrot top fucker flops around all the time and then celebrates his flops.
The janitors didn't have to sweep the floor, Red mopped it with his ass.
Man that is bogus. Making free throws is part of the game, and it's not easy and it takes work. We lost to Minnesota in large part due to our poor free throw shooting - it wasn't a gift for minnesota. You can't make inferences like that - you might as well say they'd win if they made more 3 pointers.
Anyone know what the student section chants were tonight? I couldn't pick them up.
I'm not saying the win doesn't count. I'm just saying the FT shooting was abnormally bad. Berggren is 76% for the year, but he went 2 for 8. He probably won't do that in any other game this season. That's lucky for us. I'm happy to take it, but it was fluky.

Ryan Evans also made his 2nd 3 on the year, so it evens out. He's now 2/20 from 3 on the season. Also him going 1/2 from the line is also above average for him, he's a 39% FT shooters.
Just as MSU missing a bunch of easy shots was fluky. MSU could have easily won this game by double digits.

Oh I hear you. I wouldn't call it lucky exactly, nerves and tired legs can do that to you sometimes. But really, I just think we were in control of the game - we would have found a way to pull out that game even if they made their free throws. We were better on offense and defense.
And Wisconsin would have benefited from MSU's poor shooting from the field had they won. MSU makes those shots and wins easily by double digits. Wisconsin's missed free throws are then a moot point.
Didn't see Chitown on here, I'm sure he'll be here tomorrow.
Why isn't Dekker playing more? Don't get that, but I'm sure Bo has a reason.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
And uw benefitted from us not even being in the bonus until the end, despite the fact they kept chucking up jumpers. Along with 3 obvious loose balls that should have gone our way, and the Ginger getting away with 15 fouls. This game should not have been this close.
So what, Payne and Nix were also abnormally bad.
I was at the game and I absolutely love the way UW lost.
His flopping hasn't progressed to where they were hoping it would be by now.
According to the Wisconsin fan base, he gets pulled for bad shot selection and bad defense. They claim he gave up a fast break and fouled somebody he should not have. On the other hand Ryan Evans jacks shots from everywhere and never gets pulled. His defense and rebounding keeps him in the game. The fans are pissed at the double standard.
there is nothing more pathetic than celebrating a flop. good lord i hate that guy.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
The biggest "momentum" shift in their favor of the night, and the one time the crowd really exploded and the team went nuts was doucheawitz flopping and getting a call around the 3 point line about half way through the 2nd half. He jumped up and flexed like he'd just buried and alley oop from half court. it was bizarre.
Thats hilarious kohl center reached it's highest decibel when a flop occurred by a ginger who proceeded to pump up the crowd numerous times, That's Wisconsin basketball for you. I was so pissed when that happened but in hindsight after the win, I can't stop laughing my ass off think back on it.
The only one I caught was "Izzo swallows."
