Interestingly enough...MSU was 2nd in the BigTen in time of possession.
That's not at all what anyone said, it was stated that the D did not get the big stops in crunch time which is true.

Funny how good teams happen to have 'luck' on their side, and bad teams don't.
This isn't true, and it's retarded when people say 'good teams make their own luck'. That is just a case of people misdiagnosing luck and good/bad play. Lots of good teams have bad luck, thing is, it usually doesn't swing a game because they aren't in many games that are decided by one or two plays.
State wasn't all that good this year, and consequently were in tight games almost every Saturday, and one or two plays swung it one way or the other. State could easily have had 3 more wins this year without some bad luck.
