National Recruiting Analyst
Perhaps the coaches acquired more film on him. From Day One I hoped this kid would end up in Green and White.
I'm curious what position(s) he is being considered for.
I gotta like our chances here. What position are we recruiting him as?
The big possession WR they're looking for.
So this says MD doesn't make contact with recruits after they commit elsewhere then? An FU to the Urbz of the world.
Odd. Penn State has OTs and OGs and DEs that we probably have a shot at. We really need commits on the lines. Hoping to see offers on those guys, less on the athletes.
laconophilia is everywhere...
Zach is a legacy who had rumored to favor MSU throughout his recruitment. Would be interesting to see exactly what aspect of the scandal has spurred this offer. Any chance that he could commit as a part of the 'over 85 scholarships' portion of the ruling?
pretty clear Coach D is bailing out a good Spartan fan stuck in a bad situation.
Kid is a stud but might not exactly fit our needs at this point. Given sanctions, looks like he is making room.
His Dad posted on the Duff. Hopefully his son comes home. Sorry it took so long.
Safety or WR/TE?
I doubt it, since he is in the '13 class. Schools have plenty of time to figure out their scholarship numbers to stay at or below 85.

The Michigan State offer to Zach Bradshaw is significant

We didn’t offer Bradshaw a scholarship because we were limited on available spots at his position(s). Now that they’re going to let teams exceed the 85 scholarship limit, we now have room for him.
We've got depth. We've got numbers.
Kilgore? So MSU has two bigger WRs in this year's class.
Maybe because MSU is thinking better to get another very good WR instead of a mediocre OL?
Does the scholarship limit affect 2013 recruits though? I thought it would just be for the kids who have already signed LOIs.
How do you figure that? Im pretty sure thats for current PSU players, not future. Otherwise watch out for Urban to try and sign everyone of their commits if they "don't count" towards scholarship numbers.
MSU is apparently looking for another big WR for 2013. So, I doubt it. Plus the whole waiver rule isn't clear or even official yet.
My Whiskey Blog
He doesn't count in this since he is a '13 recruit and is only verbally attached to PSU.
Interesting. The big question here is whether this was a behind the scenes deal (assuming MSU knew to a degree that PSU would be hit with something this big).
Regardless, sign him up and have him (along with Terry, Delton, and Demetrious) start recruiting others, preferably on the lines.
You have to believe LAKS and Hollis knew what was going to go down sanctions wise and told MD and Co. And they just had to wait to make it public.
