What's McCabe's screen name on tRCMB?
"There are people who like to write revisionist history; so if you don't know, this is the Fab Five's legacy: They were five guys who at times acted like petulant children, wore baggy shorts and black socks, and never won a Big Ten title or a national championship."
The Great American Nightmare finally is over. The Fab Five have reunited. Now please, Fab Five, disappear and allow today's players to be in the spotlight. Who do these five guys think they are?
Yeah, it's a real shock that these guys are me-first. I think it's hilarious that um bball is never going to be able to have any meaningful success without these leeches crawling out of the woodwork. It's really worse than any punishment the ncaa handed down. You reap what you sow.
Vim -- noun: robust energy and enthusiasm : VITALITY
The Fab Five handled it poorly for sure. I imagine Brandon and to a lesser extent Coleman would like to find some way to bring them back in the fold again but that would take an artful tact on part of the Fab Five. Doing a reunion at the national championship seems crass. Even in a loss it was a really good moment for Michigan. Something to be proud of. A bunch of special moments. If that happen to us and one our outcasts decided to show up for the first time on the biggest stage it would not endear them to me. It would piss me off.

Winner winner chicken dinner.
it seems like jalen rose jumps at any chance to be in the media. dude needs to stop being the nic cage of sports media.

But Nick Cage actually won something.
Shocking that the first 4 comments are Walverines telling the author he is wrong
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Not sure if posted and dont feel like starting a thread. Here is Drew again. I give him credit. He is an equal opportunity hater.
The Fraud/Felon Five are still today what they always have been...a bunch of me-first attention whores who are just desperate to never be forgotten by the public. The best thing that could happen for SCum is that these parasites just go away and stay away. Fortunately for us, however, they will never do that and will continue to hover like the preverbial black cloud over SCum's basketball program until they all finally just die off. I find a lot of poetic justice in that too....that this will be the continual price for the weasels to pay for all the massive cheating that this school perpetrated on the American sports public over two decades plus ago.
Thankfully, order has now been restored...and justice has been served and has prevailed. The Fraud/Felon Five...and it's main benefactor...The University of Michigan...will now and forever more be linked together as karma's biggest bitch....and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank you God!

While I'm certainly not happy about what this year's UM team accomplished, they didn't deserve to have the program's first clean Final Four since the Cazzie Russell days overshadowed by a bunch of cheaters and thugs who destroyed that program and never accomplished anything.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
That wouldn't surprise me. Brandon maintains a questionable UM friendship from the past. Michigan and it's fans and alumni are notorius for rewriting their sports history to their advantage. It was on full display recently.
Some JIZZ bag named DJ Gallo from (shock)......ESPN disagrees with Mick....said the game the other night was 'perfect' including the fab five. I was going to start a thread on it, but it would seem releasing some of the hounds in this thread on his sorry ass should suffice. Read at the risk of high blood pressure:
Here's the thing, if they want to get together and support their former school, that's fine. The problem is Jalen Rose going on TV and radio shows begging for a reunion and their "me first" attitude so everyone on the sports world knows about it. You didn't see Mateen going on TV begging the Flintstone's to get back together and go to the Final Four in '09 or '10 (and they never cheated but did win B1G championships and a national championship), yet some of them still showed up. The scum fan base adores these assholes because they are a bunch of arrogant fucks, just like the fanbase and the university.
Coleman has made it clear that she wants nothing to do with the fraud five. The banners will not go back while she is president.
The organization that needs to stop glorifying the fraud five is espn. I do not expect that to happens as long Rose works for them. They gave him the mic Monday night to make his case for how um should honor the fraud five in Crisler with a special banner. I was disgusting. If any Spartan needs a reminder of why we never root for um that was a good example. There was no understanding how honoring the fraud five would dishonor all other um teams and this seasons team in particular.
Here hoping that this season's puts a fire break between future teams and the distance past. Any future run in the tournament can reference back to 2013 not 1993.
I caught this quote:
"Most of today's U-M players were in diapers when they played. They have no real idea who those guys are and they couldn't care less."
Good thing he acknowledged most, I'm pretty sure McGary was about 11 and in the 3rd grade at the time, so I hope he wasn't in diapers.
Actually he probably was in diapers. I'm sure potty training someone so stupid was not an easy task for his parents.
I can't wait see what Mike has to say about C-Note's book and documentary
I don't anything is going happen as long as MSC is president
But guys! They wore baggy shorts after Jordan and the Flying Illini did. BAGGY SHORTS!
Excellent. I will say though, that all of my Michigan fan friends are also sick of hearing about the fab five and would probably agree with the majority of the article.
Webber having contact before his ban is lifted? - they should extend it.
He'll back in them however once he graduates.
And WINGED HELMETS in football too! (After MSU already had)
Have the self-proclaimed "Leaders and Best" EVER, to date in their sorry ass existence, come up with ANYTHING original?
Banners? Banners? To the best of my recollection, they never won a single game.
Who did he have contact with?
