Really disappointed in the posters here AGAIN if anybody was even beginning to infer that.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
haha there were MULTIPLE posters saying it. It was really pathetic.
So when do the transfer rumors start?
Oh yeah that Jaylon Smith guy has a crazy intrest sheet. Hopefully we can pull him in
Regarding the UM fans who said MD commited a violation for commenting on Madaris briefly, I remember at one of Dantonio's first or second press conferences he was asked about a recruit by the name of Keith Nichol, though the name wasn't given. MD replied something like, "I happen to know the particular person you're talking about, and I'm going to be on the phone with him immediately after this". Applause followed.
I know, brool story co.
I AM KIND, SMART, POWERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, TERRIFIC, AND TREMENDOUS
IS there any chance that Monty Madaris had the flu yesterday and was home sick away from a fax machine? Then today he signed it and sent it as soon as he was well enough?
Welcome aboard Monty Madaris!!!
No, his HS coach said he signed it, put it on the fax machine, but just couldn't get himself to send it. Cold feet about leaving Cinci most likely, but I have a feeling he will love the family atmosphere in EL.
It's the biggest decision of his life so far. So he took an extra day to make sure it felt right in the morning. Nothing wrong with that.
Glad to have him as a member of the Spartan family.
This. He's 18 for god sakes. Life altering decision at his stage in life. Another day to be completely sure is understandable. I don't think he'll regret being a Spartan! Welcome aboard!
The moment is eternal
You'd think you were a virgin or something. This is tRCMB where we eat our own.
Everybody understands that you don't have to commit on the first day? Right?
Me dumb. Why not crap on our successful coach and a 17 year old HS Sr?

I don't think so from what I saw yesterday.
I think people need to understand something as well. People wanted him to run it down to Kinko's yesterday and pay cash money to fax it in, but why do that when you can do it at your school for free. These kids don't have a lot of extra money hanging around but a few bucks is still a few bucks and it was clear from his tweets he had not changed his mind. He said he was sick yesterday and he would get it done, and he did.
Of course maybe he did put in the fax machine when he finally went to school and wanted time to think about something. But perhaps it wasn't MSU either, the coach was upset he didn't he didn't participate in the 3pm ceremony so he could get his glory or because he didn't go to school he was not allowed to participate in the signing ceremony but the coach seemed to be upset about something. So maybe Monty said, screw it, I'll do it tomorrow or maybe I can have my own ceremony tomorrow.
He was feeling some pressure as well, in the last two days he received over 100-messages and 200-FB friend requests and perhaps someone helped redirect his path so he didn't listen to the negativity.
Dr Opti, providing wisdom;one message at a time.
Because some of these tools are 12 years old and have absolutely no perspective. Adults know to wait things out, children stomp their feet and say, "I hate you."
Apparently the entire B10 recruiting class thought that they did, Super pumped to have this kid, beyond excited, and some posters were way out of line in bashing him. But everyone had a legitimate concern when our team had the only player that hasn't signed his LOI. Especially with his HS coach saying that he basically was "washing his hands" of the whole situation, and that MM was now an uncommitted recruit.
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
I'd be homesick as heck moving that far from family and friends. Very understandable. And yes, 6 hours is far. Hope he feels at home once he gets on campus.
There's a toilet in the kitchen!
1) Your avatar = +1
2) Yes, this is moving from Cincy not Toledo. That is a bit of trek.
3) Hope he settles in in a hurry. The chance to compete for early PT should help, as will being relatively close to home, and we should have a lot of Ohio kids that he knows, including obviously Marcus Rush. Games @ ND, Purdue, tO$U, IU, ILL, even PSU to some extent should all be reasonable trips for his family
Good pick up. Glad he took an extra night to sleep on it.

"On 4th and inches I'll take the whiskey drinkers over the milk drinkers any day"
More like 4.5 - 5
"I think the world is run by C students"
That's exactly right GM.....and you know what? That's the mature, SMART thing to do. Wouldn't surprise me a BIT if Coach D' encouraged him to do it...yeah, that's right: ENCOURAGED him to do it. Need to be sure....and now he is.
You should have your own website.

Over the 5 seasons 2012-2016 he may play, there will only be 1 game at ND--in 2013;
There is only 1 game to be played at Purdue--in 2014;
There may not be any games at Columbus, and if played at all would only happen in either 2015 or 2016;
There will only be one game played at Illinois, in 2013,
And there will only be one game played at Penn State, in either 2015 or 2016.
Of those opponents listed, only IU will have more than one, with at least 3 games in Bloomington, in 2012 and 2014, and a third in either 2015 or 2016.
Proud of this years class, welcome to MSU Madaris.
I'm just saying. It's not always cut and dry like the Bullough family.
Who knows, some people are terribly frightened when they have to get up and speak in front of people. Maybe he didn't want to deal with it. in the end, it all worked out.
