Good horror film that relies a little more on atmosphere, but shows its hand too early and deprives the film of some tension in the third act. Worth a look, though.
Green Street Hooligans
Another one of those movies that I always meant to see but for some reason never did. It was decent overall but I couldn't buy Elijah Wood as a brawler.
This had the same problem as every other potentially good horror movie from the last few years. It starts out interesting and somewhat unique but then delves into horror movie cliche and complete stupidity. It was actually somewhat scary and atmospheric for about the first half. Then once it starts revealing stuff...it gets really stupid.
I saw Cloud Atlas. Had potential and was very impressively made and ambitious but it ended up not saying much. It's one of "those" movies that make people think it's deeper than it is. 7/10
Wreck-It Ralph: This was very good. I was entertained throughout. The premise ran a little thin but overall great animated movie. 8/10
Flight: Great performance by Washington as always. It's kind of a normal alcoholism movie elevated by his performance. 7/10
Skyfall: Saw this when it first came out. Almost on the level of Casino Royale but not quite. Top 5 Bond film. Great acting and character development, only flaws are minor ones in plot/story. 9/10
Rewatched Swordfish; John Travolta and Halle Berry. Solid!
Sucker Punch - God aweful!!! Only redeeming quality was the 5 girls in skimpy outfits. Kept thinking to myself, "why the hell am I watching this." And then I remembered:
Just watched Prometheus. Pretty good, worth the $1.50 from Redbox. Lots of cool effects, so it looked good on Bluray and sounded good on the home theater. Wasn't super deep or revealing but solid.
Is this the movie that starts with the dude running through the woods yelling for his son ?
Really liked this movie as well. Solid story line, very cool/interesting plot, very well acted.
The Watch - It was alright. Made me laugh, but I had already been drinking so it probably wasn't as funny as I first thought.
Prometheus was 2/3rds of the best movie of the year. The final 1/3 was not good.
I ended up giving it a 7 but it could have been a classic.
3 Day Test - It was in Redbox as a family Christmas movie. I don't know that I've seen a worse movie.
I like to play "bathroom detective". Corn?! I didn't eat any corn!
Downloaded Looper and Lawless. They were both good not great, but surprisingly I enjoyed Lawless more. I seem to like everything Lewis Stevens is in though, I like Disturbia.
Someone suggested Zeitgeist. Streamed it on Netflix and enjoyed it.

If you want to see some excellent cinematography check out "Flowers of War" with Christian Bale.
Don't waste your time. Just google Olivia Wilde naked boibeys instead.
We are all doomed.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
See No Evil, Hear No Evil
One of the many great comedies with Wilder and Pryor. Wilder plays a deaf man who reads lips, and Pryor plays a blind man. Together they more or less witness a murder, become suspects, and have to prove their innocence. Hilarity ensues!
21 Jump street, much funnier than I thought.
Skyfall, typical bond vs. villain flick but last 20 minutes at Skyfall was kick ass
Wanderlust, the Paul Rudd mirror scene was one of the funniest few minutes of comedy I've seen in years.
Safety Not Guaranteed, dude from The League plays an eccentric guy who believes in time travel. Didn't really like the movie
Recent events agree... Lol
Life of Pi...
Interesting movie. Visually stunning.
If you have a pet Tiger, you will find yourself crying.
I'm goin' puts my dick in ya
The epic scene from Wanderlust where Paul Rudd gives himself a disturbing hillbilly-accented dirty pep talk in the mirror, with such grand eloquences as:
"You gon take that dick"
"I'm fixin's to fuck ya"
- and -
"I'm gonna get it all up in yo vag with mah dick".
Easily the best scene in the movie.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was suprisingly decent.
Chernobyl Diaries was meh. The Russian Walking Dead
December 3, 2011 - Forever haunted by what I witnessed...
Life of Pi
Not what I expected, but still a very intriguing movie.
