One thing I learned in my first marriage is that you marry the whole family, not just your lady. If family is difficult before marriage, they will likely be more intrusive with the exchanging of vows. My former MIL is the primary reason for the divorce...It was unbearable. I was VERY aware of this the second time and life is waaaaaayyy better!
Then they would fly out and visit for a week or two. Right now, they live an hour away and we only have to see them a few days a year for a couple hours at a time.
Please stop with all the information .
Why would they visit you if you leave their daughter behind?
