This. Absolutely this.
I still think he stays one more year, esp with most of his D remaining in place.
If he leaves, I wonder if it impacts any recruits. Hopefully not, but it could. Secondly, I think it makes a change at OC much less likely.
My internal conspiracy theory is that in exchange for the large raise last year, he verbally told Coach D he'd do two more years. But Saddly, I've not nothing to back that up with.
It's a big time job. They will contend in the ACC, and they have usually won since the days of Doug Flutie. But no one stays there long.
Bates said Boston College would begin a search for a successor immediately.
“We will be seeking a leader whose vision of our football program mirrors the mission of our University, who values the development of our student‐athletes and whose goal is to return our program to national prominence,” he said. “Our fans and the entire University community value the rich tradition of Boston College football, and we are committed to making it a successful program.” We will offer the new coach a rich contract and free hookers and blow.
Narduzzi didn't get the raise as a favor from Dantonio...Narduzzi could be at TAMU earning more money, paying no state income tax and adding to his legend status there.
Tressel gets promoted up if Narduzzi leaves.
Roushar and Samuels should get fired regardless of what happens with Narduzzi.
He's going to be on every media coaching job "watch list."
When he interviews somewhere, let me know. Otherwise, meh.

I doubt that any recruits are impacted. Both Tressel and Barnett have very good reputations. Finding a new LB's coach will be more difficult than replacing Narduzzi. Tressel is ready. If Narduzzi wasn't for sure gone this year or next, Tressel would have moved on to take a coordinator job somewhere else.
You hated him. I figured he hadn't gotten his dawgs on the field yet or they didn't have much experience.
Everyone is assuming Tressel will take over as DC. I'm feeling Roushar becomes DC, while remaining OC. A real dual threat
Something to add to my prayers tonight.
I''d love for Narduzzi to stay another year, but I'm not going to freak out about every job he's in the running for.
Roushar would make a great DC. He really knows how to kill an offensive drive.
Absolutely this. This.
tRCMB - Where MSU fans eat their own.
I hear Roushar has a brother who is the D.C. for West Virginia, MSU is extremely interested in adding him to the staff
"I'm here for the gang bang..."
Boston College would be crazy to go after Narduzzi. The guy isn't even a good coach.
Roushar is the guy they need if they are serious about building that program back up IMO.
I just threw up in my mouth a little while LOLing and it made a mess on my keyboard

Interesting take on the BC job. Living in Boston, I would agree that what he says is true even if it is hyped up for the article.
He's done amazing things here, and I wish him well. I just hope he gets a great job at a school far away from anywhere MSU recruits.
I would support Roushar for DC. He makes defenses look great.
Don't think -- it can only hurt the ballclub
U R correct sir!
Finally tRCMB mob's 2009 demands that he be gone will come true.
Part of me kinda agrees with you somewhat
