I know stars do not matter...but there was no mention of Terry or Williams getting a bump....what gives?
To die in ann arbor is redundant
Terry got bumped to a 5.7 3 star yet Laser Rocket is still a 5 star .
Williams didn't get a bump I don't think.

So basically things like on field performance have almost no bearing for Rivals. No wonder they miss on so many recruits.
Terry is having on of the all time great seasons in PA HS history, he did fine in the camps too, he's a stud and it's insane to keep him a 3 star, 46 TDs and 7 INTs, just dominating some of the best competition in PA.
FWIW, each got a decent bump on 247. Williams was +2 and Terry was +5 in the most recent re-rank.

Sorry kid, you committed too early and did nothing to drive subscriptions. But did you know John Reschke is good friends with Shane Morris? UM derrp.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
The explanation by Rivals was that receivers have to be own when he throws it versus him anticipating the open route. Idk if that makes him a 3 star still but that's their explanation.
There's college QBs who have that problem too. Pryor was horrible at it but he improved himself. This problem causes a ton of interceptions.
Did you mean to type "open" receivers? If so then I find it comical that rivals is punishing him for throwing to open receivers, yet Shane Morris keeps his inflated rating with each of his passes being a coin flip as to whether or not its in the same area code as his intended target.
Stars don't lie
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
Yeah it was supposed to be open. The thought was receivers have to wait for passes to arrive rather than the passes being there when they are open, if that makes sense. Terry waits for them to get open rather than throwing to where they'll be open when they should be open.
It doesn't translate into INTs in high school but it does in college because the DBs are that much quicker.
Actually, they do. Sincerely, Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State. They do not matter when it comes to MSU recruiting. Sincerely, 2011 football season.
Coming from a 3 star poster...
I agree. Good thing Terry is a 4 star on 247.

Agreed. We were taken for fools by:
"Morris missed three games due to mono, but in six games he completed 62 of 113 passes for 738 yards and six touchdowns"
Oh, wow!!!! Over 100 yards and 1 touchdown per game?!?! 5 stars!!!!!
Nope. More subscribers = higher ranking.
The data actually shows that 5.7 3 stars out perform 5.8 4 stars.
I should change your name to 12-hour BanFan
For the love of Trevor...™
they forgot the part about 6 ints
shouldn't move up just because he dominates bad competition.

Exactly. These guys all sucked...
and Fred Smith was the best WR in MSU history.
tanfan ruins every thread and makes me want to drink bleach
I will never being to understand how people derive pleasure from trolling.
What does the mental makeup of the individual have to be for that to happen. Severe insecurities? Being attention starved??
Maxwell was a 4 star.
I don't even agree with their explanation really, either. Watching his highlight film from both his Jr. and Sr. year, he does anticipate receivers getting open and has good timing when throwing it to them. There are a lot of highlights of him throwing to wide-open guys, but come on... it's high school. It doesn't seem like Rivals have spent much time on their evaluation of Terry and Williams. Just goes to show that they spend more time on kids who are looking at schools with lots of paying subscribers.
Does it help to know he can't reply?
Why do you bring up um in so many threads that have nothing to do with um?
