I'm currently watching our first round opponent from last year, LIU-Brooklyn on ESPN2. It's fun watching their fast style when we're not on the other end worrying about how it will effect our legs next game.
There are two more conference title games on at 9 tonight on ESPN and ESPN2.
I remember that Velociraptor guy for LIU-Brooklyn.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
LIU are a bunch of thugs also their coach is stupid
Yeah, it's a shame. I'd be a lot more interested in the two late games if Detroit and Oakland had made their conference finals. That being said, the conference tournament championship games for the smaller conferences means so much to these schools, it's exciting to watch
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
Ok, so the Big East Tournament starts tonight on ESPNU....what the hell is South Florida wearing?? Someone please tell me those are special uniforms and not their normal road uniforms
I was wondering the same thing. It would seem odd to me that they would wear special jerseys, but I guess Adidas had L'Ville, Baylor and Cincy do it last year
And Adidas has more schools doing it this year. Kansas is doing it, but you can tell Bill Self doesn't like the new jerseys.
Looks like USF is an Under Armor school, they might be doing something special for the tournament.
I"m trying to watch this LIU-MSM game but I have zero emotional interest. This is like watching an IM pickup game.
Yeah, I often find myself flipping over around the hour and 45 minute mark to see if the game is close for the smaller league championship games. That way, if it's close, you can watch the last 5 minutes of a competitive game that wouldn't normally interest you. If it's not close, you didn't waste your time watching a school like LIU-Brooklyn
Im watching LIU-Brooklyn because they are much more exciting than the USF/Seton Hall game
They seem to be working out so far haha, we'll see how the game ends. They are unique.
That fake big east banner next to the baseline fools the eyes
You mean the 31-27 game with 7:55 left (In the game mind you) doesn't interest you much????
Especially considering Mt. St. Mary's has only 6 points less than both of the Big East teams combined

If LIU had Boyd I might pick them to upset a 1 or 2 seed.
With 3:09 remaining in the game.....USF/Seton Hall combined: 66 points
With 3:46 remaining in the game.... Mt. St. Mary's: 60 points
Going to be a close one
LIU up 16 with 2 minutes to play and they're going for 360 breakaway dunks and alley oops out of the half court set.
They have no sportsmanship at all
Shot a 3 with about 30 seconds left in the game and 25 seconds on the shot clock
The Big East tournament isn't at MSG this year? What's up with that? I actually enjoyed watching it there.
Did anyone else just see that pathetic pregame speech by the NDSU captain?
That was horrible. Zero emotion.
Watch Nate Wolters play. Saw him play against Oakland. Great shooter and takes the ball to the basket well. Gets to the line often. Much faster than anybody else with the ball. He'll score 30 plus tonight. Takes a ton of shots though and doesn't really involve his teammates. Plays for SDSU.
