So I am not wealthy, but do decent for where I am at in life and I definitely dont have enough money to blow it on sports cars and boats. Sometimes I find that there really isnt anything I want anymore. It seems I am spending my money on upgrading my house, and it doesn't even bother me. I try to save as much as possible, but sometimes I get the urge to spend some money and just cant even think of anything good to buy that wouldn't destroy my bank account.
So has anyone bought something cool lately that would be entertaining?
Hookers & blow.
Guinness makes you drop mud.
Are you married and do you have kids? If not, your future wife and kids will finds all kinds of ways to spend money that you probably won't even have.
Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen area at my house has been nice. Never thought I needed it but it's nice to just turn on some pandora on my phone or an iPad and it can go through bluetooth to the speaker. Good sound and convenient when hanging out and cooking or something with the family.
Glock 21 & Saiga 12 and lots of ammo.
How big is your TV? That's always a fun upgrade, because it's semi-justifiable, i.e. "everyone will use it." To feel less like an ass (since TV prices drop every week), pick the size you want (say, 80"), and check out the prices. Set an alert to let you know when it drops below a certain price (say, $100 less than it is now), then buy on command. Everyone wins.
This - just got Jawbone Big Jambox - pretty nice sound for Bluetooth.
Travel, see the world. Duh
PS There are also hookers and blow to be had all over the world

Think about the price of a new big ass TV. 1000+ bucks?
Invest it in your Roth IRA or whatever you have. In 40 years that'll be a couple hundred grand if you keep adding to it.
But I take it you don't have many hobbies?
I'm poor right now, but if I had money I'd be set with guitars and pedals and amps. Man I wish I had a little bit of money to burn
This too. There are 160 or so countries and some of us haven't even seen much of the U.S. How sad is that...
It would be cool and entertaining to give me some
Yeah, lucky enough to have a job that has sent me all around the world a few times, and on occasion with my wife. Otherwise, I try to have cool vacations every now and then. Dont want to sound like a bitch, I am thankful for all that, it just seems like buying stuff isnt that awesome anymore. I dunno maybe I am going minimalist. Maybe I should save up for a really nice car or something.

tag because the OP sounds like my twin and with my new job, I'm going to have occasional instances of "OMG GIMME". I'd like some ideas from the finest of internet message board posters.

What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
If you're a golfer, you can get new golf clubs, or a golf bag. Hell, I spent $2 on a little suction cup for the top of my putter to retrieve the ball from the hole when my back was bothering me and I couldn't bend low enough to pick the ball up out of the cup. Best $2 I ever spent. I bought a set of Birdie Balls to hit around my back yard, those are pretty neat and pretty cheap. I also bought this little fake grass strip with a bungie cord on it that you attach to the ground with golf tees. It lets you hit balls off your lawn without ruining it. It cost about $20 and it works pretty good. Of course, if you're not a golfer, then none of that would appeal to you...
Give them NOTHING but take from them EVERYTHING.
