The Philadelphia Eagles made Chip Kelly one of the highest-paid coaches in the NFL, giving him a five-year...
That's almost Nick $aban money!
My seats at SS. My driveway in winter.
Came into thread expecting Oregon sanctions.
This. womp womp.
But maybe still as shocking.. Eagles are going to look like fools if this dude is winning five games per year.
A good coach is worth as much as a franchise QB. If Kelly can produce, that will be worth it. I don't think he's going to produce, though.
That's the NCAA way, let the cheaters leave and then punish the new regime. As if anyone cares, here's the latest. This will go 2 more years before they drop the hammer.
From Yahoo! Sports: The NCAA's committee on infractions didn't accept Oregon's written findings as part of its probe into the relationship between the school's football program and an adviser to prep players.

and Kelly won't care because he'll be getting paid no matter what...
Nίκη για MSU
It's what they call in the biz "pete carrolling"
It'll be interesting to see if his offense can work in the NFL.
Probably a loan in there to pay off his current obligations to his roster before he leaves.

Seahawks went 11-5 this year
I quoted the wrong post. Closet Michigan fan douche tpain.
i'll bet Brian Kelly is wishing he would've left Notre Dame for that gig now....Instead he's probably stuck monitoring all is players online profiles from here on out...
Brian Kelly has been the man in charge at programs where homicide/manslaughter was committed twice, in addition to a rape/suicide. He was directly responsible for one of these deaths.
T'eo's bs barely registers with that slimebag.

Exactly, Teo is gone Kelly needs to keep his gang of thugs in check that are still enrolled and make sure they aren't raping any more women or killing anyone.
You mean the offense that Cam Newton, RG III, Russel Wilson, and Kaepernick are currently excelling in?
Why worry about it? The school will cover it up, they probably have a "Red Phone" to the "Church" for quick advice on cover ups.
He's gotta have the right players, but I agree with your point. I don't see why Chip's offense wouldn't be effective at any level.
smart move. take the money
It's going to be funny to see his hurry up in the NFL. Other teams have a system like his (sort of), but none of them run it at his speed, which is something that makes it even more effective IMO.
Can you see these Ed Hochuli running around with this hurry up? lol
Knowing Goodell, he'll prevent the high pace by citing "player safety."
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
Teams that have beaten his system had stud D tackles who disrupted things at the point of attack. The league is loaded with these guys. Also getting smurfs into space to outrun people doesn't work in a league where LB's and Safeties have the same 40 times as running backs. He has to adjust to the pro game to have any success.
When did Jim Tressel start going by that nickname?
"Leave the gun.....take the cannoli"
"It's not your job to be as confused as Nigel."
