No stouts in the collection?
Not sure Bells makes a stout minikeg? The only ones I know I'm missing is the newer best brown and possibly a newer two hearted. I moved to Florida so I haven't been able to keep up the last few months.
Goodrich's Shop-Rite on Trowbridge...
Exactly. Supply demand. I heard through rumor buzz that they even had a keg. People were asking when they were going to tap it.
I just scored a couple six packs in Orlando! I was starting to fear that it wasn't going to make it to Florida this year. I've had my eye out for it for a month.
Just picked up 6er of this last night and cracked one open right now, damn good shit. I was keeping an eye out after I saw this thread.
Currently trying it for the first time at Slows. Great start to what should b a helluva meal before 2 Spartan victories.
My Bell's brewer friend will be personally delivering some Hopslam to my doorstep next week.
That being said, I'm more excited about the other random/rare stuff he will be bringing.
Because of this thread, I just popped one open for the 2nd half. Cheers and beat the Buckeyes!
What are you guys paying for this stuff? I picked up a six pack for $17 last weekend. Is that typical? I guess the alcohol content made it worth the price.
Sounds about right. Figure a 4 pack if double trouble is over ten so not much different getting a six pack out of it.
19 and change here in Fort Wayne. Doesnt bother me, I gladly pay 15-20 for a 6 of high quality beer.
So glad I bought a case + sixer. Couple hopslams through the second half and another for the presser.
Enjoying a Hopslam as my celebratory / chili making beer here in Baltimore. Da.

Only bought one sixer this year. Stopped at Bell's last week and they said they had been sold out for 2 weeks, and I haven't seen any in stores for probably a month.
Picked up a six-pack of Lagunitas Maximus last week, and while it was good, it really made me kick myself for not picking up more Hopslam when I had the chance.
The Village Market in that strip mall north on chandler still had a handfull of six packs left on Friday night for anyone looking to pick up some before it is gone for the year.
Picked up a six for the weekend... Game beer, good stuff
um, can you share any details about the "rare" Bells?
Coach Dantonio is my Spartan!
I polished off two cases of Hopslam this year, and have already called it a year for the delicious beverage. I was simply becoming too wasted when I tried to make it a session beer, then going out to a club/bar after. Good shit though.
Was just up there again. 2 cases + 3 sixers left. I'll probably pick up another sixer tomorrow to put in the "celler." It's not my favorite brew (I like maltier darker stuff, Dirty Bastard for instance) but it's nice to have on hand and hits the spot when I am in the mood to have my facehole assulted by hops.
Is this still available anywhere? Coming up to the Williamston/EL area from Chicago for the weekend and would love to get my hands on a couple sixers while I am in mid-Michigan?
I doubt you can buy it anywhere. This was released in like February, right? It's only on shelves for a few weeks usually.
They do have this on tap at 7 Monks in TC. At least they did 2 weeks ago.

I just drank the last bottle from my fridge.
See ya next year!!
