Huh? Can you speak up?
When I was a wee small boy, I saw the Night Gallery episode about the earwig eating through the man's brain.
Ever since, the whole idea of a bug in my ear has freaked me out, man!

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx
I knew you were special but didn't know you had a detachable dick.
Ugh... that's one of those injuries that just makes me cringe. Sorry OP. Good luck.
The Doctor that put the tubes in my daughter showed us all the pics, it was pretty cool. And she hasn't had an ear infection since. She had 15 in 13 months, and not a single one in the last 7 months.
Ruptured mine while diving in a swimming pool. Pain kept getting worse so I finally went to the ER early evening. Doc gave me some Tylenol #3's. He told me to take one and if the pain was still there in 30 minutes to take another one. I ended up taking 2 and I have to admit that was the best I had EVER slept. Didn't wake up until 10 the next morning and felt fine. Oh yeah, had to have ear drops for a week.
I had an angry newish nurse clean my ears out once with water. She minus well have used a fucking fire hose. Damn, chick, you trying to do both at the same time!
Most annoying thing I've gone through in close contact with a semi-hottie.
Your diagnosis was correct. I have a healthy scrape to the skin in my ear canals and there is a scab.
And I know the doctor was excellent because he had this photo on the wall of the examining room:
Great. Now I have to start sleeping with earmuffs on.
Glad I could help out! And if Doc Bricker went to your ENT then I know you're in the right place...
.....I was born to synthesize.....
Dr. Bricker didn't go there. I think he was more of a role model. These were the other headshots in the room:

.....did the other waiting rooms have pics of Marcus Welby, Dr. Kildare, and Joe Gannon?
