Every single commercial timeout on ESPN

There is a thread for this. It's called the random thoughts that don't warrant their own thread, thread.
I'm not sure which big brewer is behind this "ale", but it fucking sucks
It's on every other commercial during the weasels game on ESPN. Not a random thought.
It's a Miller/Coors product. Another lame attempt by the macros to go after the growing microbrew market. Just drink a MI beer!
Thankfully I'm not watching that game.
I never even heard of this stuff until the Super Bowl. Now it's everywhere.
Your a retard.
I agree you are luckier than I am today
i have a couple bottles at work that i have yet to try.
Its miller/coors attempt to enter into the growing hard cider market. They saw the success with Boston Beer Company and its Angry Orchard line, and jumped on board.
Ugh! I've seen a ton if the angry orchard crap at house parties lately. Usually in the hands of women, the ultimate marketing segment that will try anything they see on TV.
Cider is awesome. If the shitty macrobrews are gonna try to make it, it'll only lead more micros to experiment with it.
But I will never try that shit on tv
yeah they're trying to sell it as an ale... its a hard cider. Pretty soon the big brewers are going to be making crappy mead i'll tell you what
And Holdensheros... you have some at work? wtf?
Since this beer is being mass produced and mass marketed, I'm going to take a wild guess and say that it tastes like horse piss.

I work in hospitality. Right now I am on the purchasing side of the business (specifically alcohol).
I have samples dropped off almost weekly for random stuff. They came in 2 weeks ago pushing redds. Just haven't gotten around to trying it.
Our largest distributor just got dogfish and new holland, so I have been getting some great swag lately (120 min, 90 min, pilgrims dole, dragons milk, etc)
Haven't pulled myself away from those long enough to get to the redds.
I'll break one open tonight and report back.
It tastes like you poured a Bud Light into a Woodchuck, and I mean that in the best way possible. I love it.
Angry Orchard is probably the best hard cider available in most markets. They've had it on draft at 3rd Street Bar since the summer and I have to say it's become a go-to when I'm not feeling a beer.
Not feeling beer? WTF?
first thing i though of after reading your post was this one time when i had a friend trying to tell me about their awesome pet... how much fun the pet is to have around the house, how much the pet loves to play and how much the pet loves having your attention, oh and how well behaved the pet is and how it listens and obeys commands... and you're totally into the story and you want to know even more about this great pet...
... and then the friend tells you that the this pet is a cat. a fat, lazy, house cat that probably sleeps all day and is scared of every new person that comes into their home. sure, the cat might be a decent pet, and i bet your friend just loves this cat... but sadly the cat is no dog, and the best cat will NEVER be as good a pet as the worst dog.
cider = house cat =
india pale ale = dog =
