The Wiscy guy was just crushed. Used to be a perfectly legal block but not anymore under the new rules. Can't hit in the high area and also can't hit low so basically you can't make that block anymore unless you can get directly in front of the player.
The moment is eternal
I'm just wondering if anyone has any statistics on if the number of injuries has really gone down that much with all these rule changes. Maybe it has but it isn't obvious to me.
I'll hang up and listen.
Pretty much what I thought. The initial contact is in the shoulder, but the helmets do collide as Bell moves up through the block. If Bell hits him just a little lower (think elbow area instead of shoulder), it's a completely legal hit.
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
Why do people insist on saying stupid shit like "I was a wide receiver in high school..."?
Sadly that was the smartest thing he said in that post. I'm trying to figure out which part was dumber. Saying Bell launched himself or the part about keeping "neck extension."
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
Dude got Kronwalled.
Thank you, Denicos.
