I don't like Painter or Purdue but you don't fire a coach after one mediocre season. They have some young talent and should be much better next year.

Yea, I guess the Mizzou thing wasn't as long ago as it seems. Either way, they've still got to decide if they're fine with just riding out a long term down slide. I don't put much faith in contracts for college coaches - I mean, they could just buy him out. But you're probably right - Purdue Bball is going the way of the DoDo.
Well, I think they've had two mediocre seasons, and I seriously question the "young talent". I have little doubt that they'll be good on the defensive end, but their offense is going to get worse, they've got no offensive talent in the pipeline.

Hammons is a nice player.
Not sold on anyone else on the roster. They aren't very good.
