Team game. I hope to look back at this day and smile as Izzo cuts down the nets.

You're not talking about this season are you?

We have it. It just hasn't come to the surface yet. This might actually help motivate this team!
Is this thread for real? The current MSU players will get fired up and play harder because some kid that is currently a high school senior didn't commit? Wut?

You're right. The team will have 16 TOs Saturday rather than 20+.
Fired up....I get it.
Yeah. This. Everyone stfu. One 17 year old boy not coming to MSU changes nothing. Jebus. Omg! We are gonna play hard now and show him! Wtf.
Yeah, the guys who would have had to compete with Parker for minutes are probably pretty happy.

But...I think this could make Izzo grind harder, like he did when he missed out on Chris Webber.
Izzo wasn't even head coach back then
I just hope we still have a shot at Jah and Ty. I've read analysts saying they are likely to follow Jabari. Probably pure speculation and it's early for both of them as well.
LOL. I bet it does fire up Dawson though. Nothing like having a HS basketball player basically say he would take your spot away from you.
After hearing what ANALYSTS have been saying all week, I wouldn't worry too much.
Doesn't matter. I'm sure Izzo is having similar feelings that he had when we lost Webber. ( Granted it had to worse losing to cheaters). Izzo recruited Webber HARD and obviously went all out for Parker, I can understand the comparison.
You know, TO teams have done unexpected things through the years. Don't count him out.
I don't know about them playing harder, but I think you're naive if you think JP's decision doesn't affect the current players at all. I mean, Jabari didn't just turn down the program and Izzo, he turned down his possible'13 teammates that he would have had at State. You don't think the players thought he was going to make the team better next year? As a probable one and done guy, JP is making his decision partly based off who he thinks will be more likely a championship team. It's a slight against everyone at MSU hoops in some way.
Not to mention the team knows how badly Izzo wanted Parker. I could see the team rallying around him.
