I just tweeted at him and DickieV....Maybe DickieV will tweet back
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Yeah, who on earth would hit himself in the waistband?
I just reached into my pocket to see if I had a spare fuck to give. Nope, nothing there.
Get out the
Nicholas Richardson @Slicknickshady
@YahooForde You are FUCKING nuts. Seller punched himself in the balls.
My champ: Indiana, starting to separate itself from the CBB pack. My chump: Derrick Nix, for not keeping his hands to himself.
Spartan Nation: Yes, I've seen the video. And I've heard Cody Zeller say there's no way he'd do that to himself. Who would?
@YahooForde very very rarely disagree with you - hope you have seen all camera angles ... It was Zeller pulling his arm, pretty clear
@MikeGriffith32 I see Zeller's hand on his arm. We know for sure he's pulling the arm?
@YahooForde @mikegriffith32 You know for sure he's not? If you don't know then refrain from commenting on it. You and Dick Vitale both
Kyle & Mike bringing it strong.
Thank you, Denicos.
This drives me nuts. Zeller obviously pulled Nix's arm. This does not mean Zeller intentionally nut slapped himself. However, even if Zeller didn't intentionally nut slap himself, it does not mean that Nix did. Freaking terrible that people can slam Nix on twitter like this.
Forde is a piece of trash.
laconophilia is everywhere...
You might even call him chump of the week for not keeping his ignorance to himself.
I did call him my chump of the week in a tweet
I used to think Forde was actually one of the few decent ones left out there.
So did I
Since Ford wants to be a Prick about this, he can be sued. He's attacking a college kid who can't defend himself.
Isn't this the definition of libel?
1. defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures.
2. the act or crime of publishing it.
3. a formal written declaration or statement, as one containing the allegations of a plaintiff or the grounds of a charge.
anything that is defamatory or that maliciously or damagingly misrepresents.
*choosing not to believe what he sees isn't a defense! The video is evidence of fact.
The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare.
Simmer down and get over it. You sound like a UM fan whining about attempt of murder.
Not even close.
Nix is considered a celeb I believe. At least a public figure. Therefore libel is harder to prove.
We Hope For Better Things; It Shall Rise From the Ashes.
That's ok, Pat Forde is Asshole of the Year.
Fred Flinstone called, he wants his head back.
Since Zeller denied any wrongdoing it must be true. The almighty gospel has arrived in college basketball, wearing ugly striped sweatpants.
He needs to back off. I'm not writing articles defaming some college kid or willfully painting him in a negative light for personal gain.
Since he won't accept what the video clips show and he won't listen to reason, that should get his attention.
He's giving this kid a bad rep and Nix is a senior, so unless these bozos let it go, they can do him a great deal of harm.

It would have to be proven that he posted that tweet with knowledge that what he was posting was false or with reckless disregard of whether or not it was false.
A writer/radio personality watches a grainy video and concludes that there was an intentional balltap. tRCMB thinks it's grounds for libel.
Yup, pretty close.
OP should change thread title to: Pat Forde is chump of the week
Doesn't the fact that Zeller is the one "not keeping his hands to himself", as is clearly visible on the video, meet the "reckless disregard" standard?
Just for the sake of discussion, doesn't the fact that Nix didn't have his hands on Zeller represent a "false claim" on Forde's part?
I'm just saying if he wants to hold a college kid accountable for what another player did with his hand, shouldn't he be held accountable for what he writes? That's all.
