I just don't know what to say about that picture that they have of Pelini on that article . . . other than it seems fitting.
man....the 2 coaches of the B1GCCG going to mediocre secsecsec teams.
He must be feeling a little heat after the B1G title game.
Indictment of the B1G being more stringent with paying assistants more money, or at least that's was Bielema was pissed about.
Well, Tom Osborne is retiring. So that means Bo will be working for someone who didn't hire him.
I'd say Bielema was frustrations over losing assistants and $. Pelini, I'd say being able to have relaxed recruiting, SEC history, and $.
Apparently one of the issues with Gruden at Tennessee was their unwillingness to pay big money for his assistants.
Pelini would be leaving for a big payday of his own. He'd be a good hire for Tennessee at this point.
this one is my favorite. same look, with another football coach...

Probably more job security also. Moving to UTK buys him at least 3 more years, while I'm not sure his constant 4 loss seasons have won him much support at Nebraska.
If the Cornholers hated the curbstomping they got from Wisky, just wait til a humongously pissed off Georgia gets through with them. I'm sure they have the pitchforks and the tar and feathers ready and waiting for him. Time to get out while the getting out is good...and profitable.

Recruiting is no longer relaxed at UT. The school president in hell bent on being a "Top 25 Academic Institution" and it is a major hang up in the whole search right now.
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day.
any football player will still get in. don't kid yourself.
He was reportedly the leading candidate for the Arkansas job.....before the title game...
So he tries to cool off by going to the SEC?
That picture is hilarious. He was making that face a lot on the sidelines saturday night (so were the fans).
they currently have a below 2.0 gpa for scholarship football players. They have to change that, or lose funding.
They have a edict from the Pres, to make a change.
I mostly agree with you. It would take a kid that is prettttttty below average academically (for a football player) to turn away.
Great football player, barely making it academically.........might not make it.

wow. that is funny.
It's probably that he's tired of getting his ass kicked .
"I think the world is run by C students"
Seriously, if Pelini leaves, did the B1G just get rid of two of the biggest dumb-jock coaches in all of America?
I believe that would be the case.
Just talked to a Tennessee fan. He said he has a brother in law in Michigan, and that his brother in law said that word on the street in Michigan is that Dantonio is going to Tennessee. I laughed. Asked if his brother in law worked at WalMart.
Gawd..he's a handsome Bitch
There is romance in all of us
Like it or not, the SEC is king. Let's just hope Spurrier doesn't retire anytime soon. No one here believes Dantonio would leave, but I'm probably the only one on this board who heard the radio interview he did with an SEC reporter (from where I live in Gainesville) the day before the 2009 Bowl Game in Orlando. Let's just say he thinks very highly of his alma mater.
I was on a UT board and one person brought up Dantonio, and they scoffed and said, "great coach, will make for an excellent defensive coordinator." Lol at these fans! At least we have a stable program now.
SCar always has been and will be my concern with Dantonio leaving.
