That's the TV, I have it and love it. If you're in no rush monitor it. I've seen it on sale quite frequently for less.
I have size 55 pants...is that acceptable?
For a good deal on a TV, keep an eye on SlickDeals.net ... you will generally see 1-2 awesome television buys there every week, and the deal discussion is an excellent filter for quality/value.
She would want at least size 60.

I have had two Plasma screens for several years (one of them is 5 years old) and have never had issues with burn-in. I play video games on them too.
Wasn't really an issue till I started playing Minecraft. That GD cross won't get off my TV
Samsung... plasma, LED, LCD, whatever... just get a Samsung
There are methods for fixing that. I don't know what they are but they do exist.
Here you go
Plasma is the best.
But in your price range, you should probably just go w/ the biggest possible size.
If you divide that 55 inch tv by 9, thats how big my dick is. Interest you?
I have this tv and it is AWESOME. Plasma all the way. you just need a good room for it - something on the darker side but that's not really that big a deal.
A bit out of your price range i think
Oh and no issues with burn in. Had it for 4 months.
The last time i bought a tv was three years ago. At that time, I went with an LED because (IMO) it was a better picture for watching sports, especially in HD. The LCD pic was good, too, but when watching sports there was a slurring/blurring issue that was too distracting and would've driven me nuts. Maybe technology on LCDs has improved in the past 3 years, but it is def. something to be mindful of.

Here is an LG 60" LED at a great price - don't know much about this particular TV but might be worth checking out if you have an ABC warehouse by you. This is the last day. Don't be afraid to make them an offer - they almost always come down in price.
If Go Green Girl is dating a RCMBer she definitely could use a few more inches...
I have the same one but 55 inch and I agree. Amazing picture.
I have a 55 inch Panasonic Viera Plasma and it's awesome.
