Going to the Breslin, want to view the "finished ahead of Michigan" season banners. Can someone let me know where they are so I can view them?

Screw rest. Let's win the BTT! Strangely enough, this team is deeper and more balanced than last year's squad, which relied almost solely on Draymond Green to facilitate offense.
MSU's tourney roster last year was:
w/ Payne, Trice, Kearney as main subs off bench. Yikes. That team could play defense, but Green was the only consistent scoring threat. If we'd had Dawson, all bets were off, but by our 3rd/4th game without Dawson there was enough tape on MSU for Louisville to take away everything that team did well.
A high seed this year would be a huge, huge benefit. Teams will still play MSU the same way (try to force the outside shot) but Payne's emergence and Harris' consistency as a slasher/shooter will make that a very tough job.
"Tonight, we show the world what this program is made of!" -- Brian Ellerbe on Mar 4, 2000, the night of scUM's 51-point loss to MSU.
On point, per usual.
Any true Spartan fan wants a BTT, whether shared or not. This would make it 4 out of the last 5 years. Not too shabby.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
it's a colossal waste of time to contemplate what ESPN or ESPN the Magazine thinks or writes.
So you would rather have us not win a title because of what some umer fans might say?
Grow some balls.
Many in our fanbase have none.

Simply cannot support UMAA even if we benefit from the result. The IU game is already getting enough national hype, with mutual recruits in attendance and I wish them a 30+ point loss to IU at home. Would love to see the home crowd hushed and embarrassed and leaving the game early to beat the traffic. The fact is IU beat us twice and we weren't good enough against them to win the Big Ten. But I still think we are the better team with more potential to make a F4 run but the results don't show that yet.
As for recruiting, this game does matter. It matters for football, basketball and the direction of their athletic program. With recruits like Harris making another trip to AA we don't need to give them another reason to consider UMAA. Yes, Izzo is a legendary coach and Dantonio has MSU fball heading in a great direction but i will never, ever support Michigan even if we benefit from the results.
This is such a chicken little attitude. We are Michigan fucking State. We have Tom Izzo. And you're wetting your panties over UM possibly getting a recruit or two? I'd love to get Harris but if he doesn't come here it's not the end of the world.
What happens to UM will not affect us. We are, and will continue to be, the premier basketball program in this state. UM getting better at basketball doesn't make us worse. This program will stay on the level it's been at since Izzo took over.
The fact that anyone would say "Nah, we're good," on a Big Ten Championship trophy due to fear of UM rising up is just unbelievably pathetic.

Can we calm down about Drake Harris? Good lord. You think if IU wins he isn't going to be interested in UM? It's just that easy?
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
No shit. If Drake Harris chooses UM it's going to be because he liked the coaches, campus and school and not because they won or lost a basketball game.
Forbin, how about you explain why you don't want to hang another poster of Dakota Fanning in your bedroom?
rook and JEK are spitting some truth right now.
I remain embarrassed and stunned at how paranoid people are about UofM sharing a conference title with MSU.
Banners. Banners. Banners, you crazy idiots.
We are Michigan State and Izzo is our coach. However, if you don't think the little things matter with big time recruits you are crazy. Rarely do I care what happens in AA when we aren't playing them but in this situation I hope their recruits come away unimpressed. As for the Big Ten Championship, we had our chance to take it away from IU and we didn't do it. Move on with the rest of the season and prepare for the Big Ten tourney and March Madness.
this board has been downright embarrassing the last few days.
If MSU was not in a position to claim some hardware, then yes, of course I would root for Indiana. But MSU always comes first, everything else is secondary. Championships are why you play the games. Why any Spartan fan would want to pass up a Big Ten title just because scUM would get a share is baffling to me. Don't worry about Michigan. Worry about Michigan State. Besides, it's not like UM was going to be down forever. The Fab 5 scandal set them back for years. It's inevitable that they're going to be good every now and then. It is not going to affect what MSU does, especially not as long as Izzo is in charge.
Right beside the "We finished in the top 1/3 of the Big 10" banner.
You boners. Izzo has said for YEARS he wants UM/MSU to be Duke/UNC midwest. For that to happen, UM has to win some titles. Why do you guys hate Izzo?
Yeah, I just can't wrap my head around why people get scared shitless about UM being good. If they suck and we beat them, that's great. If they're good and we beat them, that's even better. Nothing they do has any great affect on us. If they steal a recruit here or there, big fucking deal. We're still MSU and we're still top dog in this state. It's like a North Carolina fan being worried about NC State.

You're premise is flawed on one hand, and also my argument on another hand. I do Not simply want MSU to lose a potential title. I know titles matter to recruits. I *am* however, willing to forego a shared title to DENY um-AA a second title in two years, for that exact reason. WE have several in the last 15 years. THEY have one in 25 years. Another shared title won't help our recruiting nearly as much as it will help Theirs. If we get the title, fine. If it is equally taken away from both our schools, I'm fine with that too. In fact, I'd prefer to give it to IU this year, rather than share it with BOTH um-AA AND OSU. IU already can claim a title this year. Not sure recruits REALLY care about shared vs. Outright.
And I really don't give rats ass if you disagree, or want to revoke my Spartan Card. We both bought pizza for the Izzone line before IU.

Just guessing you were the type of guy who relied on his big brother to save your ass when you were growing up and couldn't win your own fights? Sort of a simple analogy, I would say....
Spartans ...committed to bring Paul Bunyan home in 2013.
Can some one PLEASE get Dantonio's opinion on this.
