Clearly Garnder is better at improvising, check the tape for proof:
Clearly Kirk Cousins is terrible:
/s Sparts logic
A UM fan preaching about logic?
Last year, Denard was the greatest QB ever. He was the savior, the Heisman winner, the leader and champion of Team 10324 or whatever. Will Gholston was a bum who could barely shed a block from a tackling dummy.
This year, Denard was barely a QB, and Devin Gardner is the real deal. He is the savior, the Heisman winner, the leader and champion of Team 10325. Will Gholston is the only reason the MSU defense was any good - he was far and away our best player, and without him, our defense will collapse.
/s Wolvies logic
Are you just making shit up in your head and pretending I said it?
What are you blathering about?
I have never even mentioned Gholston.
Nevermind rubberbandman, I see from the thread about the new divisions that your panties are in a twist because of this huge conspiracy to keep MSU football down. Let it all out.
For a while there was a pretty good chat going on here.
But....but...they have all of those six and seven star recruits!!!!
Coach carr Gardner scum shoelace jake ryan Maxwell Walmat wolverines hoke donuts
Joke about recruiting all you want..even if you ignore the ratings, its still better to have guys you picked for your system. Sometimes the change is not dramatic, but we're going from a spread offense and 3-3-5 whatever it was called..sure as hell wasn't defense to traditional systems on both sides. This will be the first year that kids they recuited will really be used. The interior line that we lost are all being replaced by more talented players. Honestly I think all of our losses except 2 or 3 are being upgraded. I'm not talking about incoming freshman..I mean highly rated kids who have been in the system a year and are showing in spring they are better than the guys who left.
Jake Ryan(should be back in October), rb Denard..not as qb, and Jordon Kovacs. Those are the 3 that will hurt..the rest would have struggled to keep their starting spots anyway. Some I can guarantee would have lost them.
I wish I could multiquote to point out the post above me. UM fans, I tell you.
Michigan State University is the university of Michigan
This^^^^ #ARMPUNT jr....
Do all Michigan designed run plays start with offensive linemen pass blocking?
The ignore function folks, it works really well.
Shoot, I think RPMad asked me awhile back if I thought UM was the only 'contender' in the division. I couldn't find the post but . . .
I don't think there's a favorite for the division. Each of the top 4 teams: UM, MSU, Neb and Northwestern have major flaws. UM probably has the least, but it's not by a wide margin.
MSU will know if it's a contender if they can win @Iowa. Those are the road games that contenders win.
As for the rest, we'll see. MSU faces the other 3 teams over the course of 3 weeks (UM, BYE, @Neb, @Northwestern).
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
You just revealed your ignorance. Please get a clue.
I can think of one improvized run by Denard (I am sure there may be a handful more over his 4 years), and that was the touchdown at MSU to put UM up 7-0 in 2011.
I'm happy to talk football with you, but YOU need to rise above the bullshit as YOU are the guest in shark infested waters.
How about the 40 ish yard run to essentially seal the game last year? The ONE time he got away all fucking game from MSU's D?

Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
I understand that. My replies have been very subdued as compared to the snarkiness that has been fired my way.
Throwing out insults, mocking me and being overly sarcastic, with little to nothing to back it up is bush league. Not calling you out in particular, just the few here who have been doing it. When that happens, I think some retaliatory snark is warranted, even in shark infested waters.
Go back and look at my posts (I know others have already done so). I have been complimentary and courteous when talking about MSU football for the most part. And have not been sipping on maize and blue koolaid when it comes to UM. Sure, I will have a more optomistic view of them than most here, but at least I try and back it up with facts.
how long do you have?
no Derp here
After the Alabama game
"Against Alabama, he regressed.
"There are some [plays] we were going to run him a little more," Michigan coach Brady Hoke said. "There are some read plays in there that maybe he could have kept it, should have kept it once or twice.
"Now, we couldn't establish the line of scrimmage. When you can't do that, it doesn't do you very well."
Thing is, Robinson used to thrive on the broken play, when the protection failed or the receivers couldn't create open spaces. Freelancing was when he would be at his most dangerous.

I'm really looking forward to when we just play the damn game...
Could have kept it, should have kept it = can't read it
The last line must be the author's since it is not quoted. Who is the author?
Do a youtube search for denard robinson best runs you get this:
Those are 4 designed runs.
This longer youtube vid encompasses highlights from 2009-11:
There are a lot of passes sprinkled in here. I counted 14 runs by Denard, and they all were designed running plays from what I could tell by looking at the blocking.
These were the first two highlight videos I found, I did not go through more than these and discard any unfavorable videos.
Look, are you still telling me you can only think of one improvised run by Robinson or not? I don't have much time, but I can pull more film later in the day. What is it you're still contending because I brought a quote and a video fairly quick. There are plenty. Just One? what is it as a michigan fan, what exactly do you remember? you called me ignorant.
