Strange that you didn't notice one that big until it was in your urethera
I've taken it upon myself to ensure never getting kidney stones by not ingesting any minerals.

Whatever happened to that vomit covered beauty?
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
Wow. For a number of reasons, wow.
Not strange at all.
That's when the pain really starts. When it's trying to enter the urethra or already has.

I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
actually you are right.......I just looked back at my record..........it was stuck in the "ureter". between the kidney stone and bladder.
9.5 mm across. It hurt.
So much fun but sadly it ran its course.
Yeah, that makes more sense, that's where it gets stuck first. 9.5mm across is insane
You could be like Bill and use them as a revenue stream
Star Trek actor William Shatner has sold his kidney stone to raise money for a housing charity.

I just spoke to my doctor and the 2 mm one passed naturally, the 1.3 cm stone was crushed 5 weeks ago and I passed the pieces, but the 8.7 mm stone that they did lithotripsy on last week didn't crush the whole stone and I need to go back in this week.

I have a good story about my latest attack while skiing.
Too painful to write the entire thing now.
The bigger issue is that I had to turn down tickets to tonights game. Debating about going to the hospital or not.
Sitting in the hospital room right now. Been here since Sunday 8pm. 4mm stone so it is not that big, but it is stuck. Apparently it has been stuck for a while and has caused an infection to go with it. That is the main concern right now. They put a stent in yesterday and are draining the infection and trying to find an antibiotic to take care of the infection so they can send me home.
This is my physical low point. 20th stone and some other issues to go with it. Solving problems as we speak.
On a bright note:
1) it was nice to see my kid take care of business Sunday night. After an hour in the ER with no pain pills, she wandered out to the doctor sitting at the desk and ripped him and the nurses a new one. I was on pain meds 2 minutes later.
2) the waitstaff has been excellent. Will try to get pics later. Don't down vote me bro. I'm trying.
Pain meds are kicking in. Peace. Out.
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day.
Aw hell naw. Student nurse for the win!!! Will try to score pictures, but I'm a little out of sorts. Will see what I can do. "I'll be here all night so when I get bored I'm coming to see you!" No way I would get that lucky if I were in here for a broken arm or something like that. This is pure torture.
Test picture post. Me and my room from last nights dumbass game
I will be joining you tomorrow GB! I will be getting my 8 X 11mm stone that's been stuck in my ureter since Super Bowl Sunday blasted with a laser in the afternoon and hopefully be able to get home Thursday night. Missed the MSU/uofFm game, had to cancel a ski trip this past weekend and missed a day of skiing in Big Sky, Montana because of the damn thing.
Also got my $2185.00 ambulance bill from the Big Sky Fire Department 2 days ago.
That alone almost passed the stone the rest of the way
My kidney got stoned by shoving my liver out of the way while I drank beer.
damn, best of luck to you. The dilaudid, once again, was my lifesaver. They keep pushing the BEER theory with me, telling me I need to drink more, and these things wont happen.
And then, to top it all off, they told me that this area of the country has a TON of kidney stone problems because of the water. sigh. need to get a new filter for my drinking water also.
fricken 8x11, man, Im not a fan of that thing. That sucker is huge. Tell the doc to "Go out there and kick its ass"
Good lord. Good luck man. I was in a cafeteria when I was still doing the Athletic Director thing at a high school. It felt like someone took a bat with a spike on it and hit me in the back. Anyway, it moved and I ws doubled over in pain. It passed but the FEMALE doctor in the ER was laughing when my wife got there and told her that all female doctors who have gone through childbirth secretly wish their husbands would pass a stone. They both thought that was funny as hell.

3-1/2 days of it for me. Finally was able to drop off it today. Hopefully I can be done with that for a while. But it is certainly a gift from the heavens!!
Possibly have another one, but this time not as bad. I've had a bunch of exams done, with an IVP done today. Hopefully we can get this figured out soon, and have a plan of action.
30 min until doc plays asteroids in my ureter.
Enjoy urinating after!
