To Santa Clara. At home. How much did they pay for this? They should aim for the CIT next year, it might be more their speed.
laying in the weeds
"Elite" is probably not the right word.
Watch for an NCAA investigation into Izzo next year. Painter is not amused.
Thank you, Denicos.
Tubby to Purdue?
I'll be sure to let my Purdue-grad buddy know.
Painter....might be trending down. How do you not build off of the baby boilers?
To their credit Santa Clara was pretty good, although inconsistent. Played Duke very tough at Cameron.
Had no scholarship for GRIII.
Came here to say this. What should the CBI call their Elite 8? The not so great 8? The someone has to make the poor four?
Well, I hope they at least get some participation ribbons for their efforts.
Your a retard.
Man, I don't know who you are, but that made me LOL.
Western won, so Wmu > purdue
Well thankfully they won AND covered the spread last wednesday when I put a big ten parlay bet on Purdue and Iowa. (Iowa covered too)
It's a mixed bag reaction on the Purdue board. I recommend the "You clowns defend MP" thread.

The worst poster in the history of tRCMB Ross tBoss.
"Purdue University - Teaching "Life Isn't Fair" since 1869"
Still made me laugh, though. +1, if I had one.
Oh, that is too fucking funny.
"Kind of important and how do the same gentlemen who have been playing bb for all of these years suddenly develop a shooting skill that they clearly have NOT developed to this point. Coaching? Practice? Like they haven't been getting tons of both all of their lives? The other "genius" and getting rid of the "negative" fans. You know the type, the folks who are sick and tired of the mediocre basketball. Yea, that's what the Purdue fan base needs more fans willing to sit back and say "well this is the best we can do, we're only Purdue- it's not like we can recruit like the IU's or MSU's or Duke's of the world. Brilliant, Purdue athletics- we are average and proud of it!"
I wish your father well, and don't get too drunk to where you put your own life in jeopardy. I had a friend die of alcohol poisoning a couple months ago right before his 20th birthday.
I am so goddamned old that the kind of alcohol I'd need to get alcohol poisoning is more than is in the house. Thanks for the kind thoughts, though.
Edit: Good point. There's single malt whisky in the house.

So they paid, what, $50,000 to host the second round game.
I heard they could have bought the protection plan in case they lost, but Painter didn't bother with it.

This was my favorite from someone defending painter:
"Name a coach in the Big ten with the same success as CMP within the last 8 yrs?"
