So Casey Anthony is filing for bankruptcy. If this goes through and she later writes a book and goes on the Today show she gets to keep the soiled millions of dollars?
Casey Anthony has filed for bankruptcy in Florida, claiming about $1,100 in assets and $792,000 in liabilities.

Casey Anthony is completely innocent!
If she's guilty of anything, it's killing her daughter.
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
Yep, you should marry her and raise a family together dude.
Hey now, she did just get a few charges reversed in appeals court....
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
I'm kinda trying to make a point about how a jury is not only allowing her to go free, but also giving her potentially millions of dollars for killing her 2 year old child.
What's a jury have to do with a bankruptcy proceeding?
im not a lawyer but the answer is yes.
"Her listed debts include $500,000 for attorney fees and costs for her criminal defense lawyer during the trial..."
So her lawyers aren't going to get paid?
Publicity brutha. They were lining up for her case.
If she writes book after the filing of the bankruptcy , then yes she would be able to keep the money.
Why the hell would anyone want to buy her book?
Even if no one buys it (which the filth will), she'll definitely get money up front

There's no way I'd read a book about her story, but if Casey Anthony wrote children's books there's a decent chance I'd buy them.
All the libs will support her, after all it's just a delayed abortion.
This isn't about books. This is about pron and she will have a long and prosperous career doing it. (and we all will watch).
Baez' fees, any civil judgments and claims will be discharged. IRS no. Except for that, she basically resumes her trailer trash lifestyle with about the same zero net worth she had before.
If you file bankruptcy with the anticipation that your income will increase drastically after the filing, you subject yourself to an objection that the bankruptcy filing was not in good faith. This could get messy.
If Anthony's lawyers signed a contract with her to waive some/all their fees for future income would that also be wiped out with bankruptcy?
