no more Rockin Raburn. sad day
a few years too late
"You make sure when you come, you got a little blood in your eye, a little blood in your eye, a little fire in your belly. We there yet?"
No Inge, no Raburn, where will the Marlboro man and Guru Lloyd find their next 170 hitter to round out the lineup?
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
better question is who is the next player Tiger fans will blame the season on
The next guy who hits .170 for an entire season. (and it allowed to bat 2nd or 6th in the order.)

With Delmon and Valverde also gone, it's a good question. Porcello is a candidate, along with Boesch if he makes the team.
And we're officially out of scapegoats
as well as out of the worst position player in MLB.
I have a feeling Jhonny will fit in nicely to the scapegoat role.
Ol' Smokey's gonna feel more heat than a match that singes his 'stache.

Boesch would fit the role nicely, but I just don't see room for him in the roster. This will make the ranting all the more justifiable when Leyland inexplicably puts him at the 2 spot.
I wish we could ship Boesch off and pick up a 5th starter. He's as valuable as he'll ever be and maybe someone would be willing to take a flyer on him.
Do not underestimate the Marlboro Man's ability to fall in love with some obscure prospect in spring training and give him a couple hundred futile at bats with the big team.
Don Kelly, anyone?
You might get a minor league 5th starter for Boesch. Not going to get much in return on his own.
How does this thread not have more upvotes? I am just gonna upvote every post so far because I am thrilled I will never have to see him in a Tiger's uni again.
Never thought of Avila's knees being bulky...interesting! ;)
is it the August yet so Raburn can start to hit
He still won't come close to this assclown.
The common theme with the whole dynamic of Leyland and his love for Rabinge : they reminded him of himself as a prospect. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
He'll go to Oakland and hit .300
..........in september after posting .164 thru 4 months.
Quintin Berry, come on down!
