We are mowing the city owned lots now, the ones that haven't been touched for who knows how long. As a result, the grass is chest high, and it is impossible to search the lot for debris. Often, we will find it when we run it over. I found something today that I thought some of you would enjoy. Clothing is the worst, because it wraps around the blades, and it is very hard to get off. I was smiling when I removed this.
Now burn it.
damn brah...you mow lawns?
This! Kill it with fire!
A man's gotta eat!
No, broseph. I mow grass. The company I work for owns approximately 200 lots in inner city Detroit, and we are purchasing 1500 more. We are working on getting as many of them mowed as possible.
Too bad Desmond Howard wasn't wearing it at the time.
Since it's Detroit, you are lucky it was just a hoodie. Watch out for bodies in that tall grass.
Don't worry, that's just Brady Hoke's stool. The Walmart Wolverine that was in that ugly hoodie was completely digested in Hoke's large intestine. Brady Hoke aint got time to peel his food. You do have to ask youself though, what's Brady Hoke doing toaking a shit on your property? You're not missing any small pets are you?
I know. I'm surprised I haven't found one yet. Maybe once we start tearing down the houses.
In that case he should probably be wearing what he ran over.
He probably dropped it when he tripped and fell while running through the lot.
Requesting a list of the crazy shit you or a coworker has discovered in these fields.
Are the lots for urban farming?
Clearing a path for the light rail.
Your a retard.
Kind of. My phone battery is dying, so I can't explain it now. I'll come back on in a few hours. Google Hantz Woodlands.
I'm outside a lot with my job and one thing that makes me laugh hard is hearing a commercial mower hit something, forcing it to stall. And The bigger the chunk of metal debris being hit, the more entertaining the sound is.
clean it, cut it up into little squares, and when you go camping, you have toilet paper to wipe your ass with, albeit cheap toilet paper.but it beats using bark...barely.
Shit, hope you didn't hurt the mower.
Hurt the mower? Where's the threat?
So I guess it really wasn't MSU laying in the weeds as Dantonio had said?

Laying in the weeds apparently
I respectfully disagree. Coat hangers are the worst. I used to mow lawns at low-income rentals in Flint. When the natives got pissed at management, they'd throw coat hangers into the lawn. Impossible to spot, a bitch to get unwound from the blade.
Yup, those suck too. I have hit a few phone lines. Had one today that took about fifteen minutes to unwind.
Nope, the mower was fine. Those things are beasts.
That happens probably five times a day. I don't hit much metal, except for pop cans. The scrapers usually do a pretty decent job keeping the lots clear of metal.
Do you work for B & L?
