Taking MSU, and maybe even the BCS games out of the equation, which bowl game are you most looking forward to watching?
For me, Texas A&M vs Oklahoma
Kent State vs. Arkansas State in the GoDaddy.com Bowl
"This is the strangest life I've ever known"
Jim Morrison (1943-1971)
nd vs bama should be good
okla vs A&M is decent
the rest look like shit on paper
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Bama vs Notre Dame
The other Big Ten teams.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
Holiday Bowl. Usually the best non-New Years Bowl. Peach Bowl should be pretty good as well.
Location: Mumbai, India
Orange Bowl- NIU/FSU
Alamo Bowl- Oregon State/Texas
Fiesta Bowl- Oregon/KSU
Cotton Bowl- Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Here is my random:
Boise St vs Washington
Remaining top 5 (no particular order, pulling for first teams listed):
1. Notre Dame vs Alabama
2. NIU vs FSU
3. Northwestern vs Miss St
4. A&M vs Oklahoma
5. K St vs Oregon
Obviously MSU vs TCU will be the one I watch closely.
Yeah, the B1G games plus Boise and CMU will be the only ones I set a reminder for on my phone. Other than that it just looks like a bunch of mediocre week 2 or 3 OOC games.
A&M-Oklahoma is a good matchup
Also like Clemson-LSU, Nevada-Arizona and Baylor-UCLA. NC State-Vanderbilt could be a really good game as well.
None of the BCS games outside the championship interest me. Oregon is going to crush K-State and the rest just either aren't good matchups or won't be that competitive.
UCLA - Baylor , Syracuse - west va , Nc state - Vandy
The SCum beatdown that hopefully will happen. B1G games and maybe the Chick-fil-a bowl (LSU/Clemson).
I'm pretty tired of most of these shit bowls. God knows I wouldn't watch the B-Dubs bowl if MSU wasn't in it. Most of these bowls are trashy money grabbers with bad matchups. It's become over-saturated.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Chic-Fil-A Bowl between Clemson and LSU should be fun to watch. That high powered offense of Clemson against that tough LSU defense. This game should be called, "The Death Valley Bowl."
Would be kind of funny to actually have that game played in so called 'death valley' out in California.
don't watch them, then...
those of us that appreciate these bowls will watch them...the free market will win out. If these bowls prove not to be worth the investment, they will disappear and join the Blue Bonnet Bowl and all the rest that are in bowl heaven.
Whatever bowl game Louisiana Tech is in. Can't wait to see that offense.
Cotton Bowl. That's a fantastic matchup, possibly better than any BCS bowl save the National Championship.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Not sure if serious...
Typical Bobby Sak, letting MSU football run his life...
I really wish there were more bowl games that pitted non-BCS against BCS schools. All we really get is the NIU game and Boise/Washington, and i suppose Iowa St./Tulsa and ASU/Navy. Not much fun.
I'll be interested in Baylor/UCLA. 2 teams that came on pretty strong in (different) unexpected ways. Texas Tech/ Minnesota. Oregon St. vs. Texas. Northwestern vs. Miss. St.
I'll watch the Idaho Potato Bowl (or whatever it's called) with Toledo vs. Utah State.
Not sure how many other bowls I'll watch aside from MSU or some of the BCS games.
Yea, plus LSU - Clemson and Oregon - K State. I'll watch the first Q of FSU - NIU, until FSU is up 31-0 .
Quite frankly, the Cotton (TAMU vs. Oklahoma) and Peach Bowl (err, Chick Fil-a, LSU - Clemson) are better than the Orange or Sugar Bowls this year.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Only if the Undertaker was the head official.
I'm interested to see how Northwestern does. They haven't won a bowl game since 1949. Seem to be turning the corner though
My two favorite coaches.
