I blame all of you douches on tRCMB for my lack of studying tonight. I could blame my lack of motivation or caring but why blame myself when I can blame others?
Lips are chapped...chapstick is on the other side of the room...I'm lazy as all hell...are you seeing my issue here?
In a class at Holden right now, I'm looking out the window and I feel so nostalgic haha. Seems like yesterday I was just moving in for the first time. Now I'm a 4th year living on Spartan.
"A Dolly for Sue" (as she calls herself) is a seemingly normal girl rag doll with red hair and a red gingham dress. Her misfit problem is never explained on the special, but was possibly revealed on NPR's Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me! news quiz show (broadcast December 8, 2007). The show revealed that Rudolph's producer, Arthur Rankin Jr., says Dolly's problem was psychological, caused from being abandoned by her mistress and suffering depression from feeling unloved.
I have a craving for chocolate and the only thing I have is an unopened jar of Sanders extra dark fudge.

Went out for sushi tonight and tried some unfiltered sake....it was $2 more per bottle but it tasted like regular sake but only cloudy.
What's with Northwestern's court? It looks like someone colored it with a purple crayon.
I can't read cursive anymore
When I was in Vegas in March we got a bottle of sake for four people. It was the smallest bottle I have ever seen and it was $30. Fuckin Vegas...
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Why is it that on the "Teams" pages on espn.com (for like the NHL, NFL, NBA and MLB) the east coast teams are on the left side of the screen and the west coast teams are on the right side of the screen? It always seems backwards.
Because ESPN looks down on America from Bristol, CT.
What's the deal with slave owners? Why won't they let me eat anything?
My high score on fruit ninja is 933 in arcade mode. I think that's pretty good.

does life really mean anything? i mean we all eventually die, and when we do, the world/universe still goes on.
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
Or does it?
You forgot to link the asteroid thread.
i've been thinking, technically under this new Michigan RTW law, no one has to pay any federal taxes. Our constitution calls for a "More Perfect Union", and this new legislation makes it possible for people to opt out of paying "member dues" (taxes if you will), yet are still able to reap the benefits of said union.
i'm no lawyer, but i feel like someone could make a very compelling argument on that basis.

But....if I'm a really good teacher, do I want the same deal that the alcholic delinquent teacher, or the tenured teacher phoning it in each year, or the one who is absent all the time, or the just plain crappy / slacker teachers who just don't care anymore? Unions benefit the lowest common denominator, and incent precisely the wrong behavior. Of course the slacker wants to pay union dues and get a deal -- who else would hire him?
On the other hand, a really good teacher should be able to negotiate their own deal...they are "professionals" right? How are they "benefitting" from a one-size-fits-all union deal? I think good teachers are owed a tax BREAK by having to work under a collective bargaining agreement -- not more taxes.
The "free loader" argument is phony.
I was sitting in the opthamologists waiting room yesterday and Prince's 1999 comes on the radio. I remember when the song was released that 1999 seemed so far away. Now it seems like so long ago.
Also, we're only one week away from the Winter Solstice 2012, aka, the end of the world as we know it according to the Mayans. I don't know why I am wasting time thinking about 1999.

At the Breslin to graduate. On to grad school. Welp.
Congratulations! I'll be there in a few hours for my graduation. Kind of a bittersweet moment.
About to head downtown to watch the Memphis vs Louisville game. The wife (SE Asian) is a big Tigers fan so we go to a lot of the games. Tigers looked awful in the Bahamas but have played really well the past few games. Took Ohio to the woodshed. Same Ohio team that beat UofM in the tourney last year minus the coach. Still a talented Bobcat team though and Memphis destroyed them.
Should be an interesting game with Dieng out for the Cardinals. Pastner has yet to beat a ranked team so we'll see if he can finally pull out a signature win. The past couple of games, the Tigers best players have been JUCO transfer Geron Johnson and freshman Shaq Goodwin. If they play as well as they have been, it should be a good game.
