this. or i do RTG. EA doesn't spend much time on the rosters because they know that other people will do a more accurate one that's easy to download and they don't pay a cent of it.
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
Not only that, but the default rosters really aren't supposed to be that accurate because of NCAA/amateur status restrictions. Obviously EA does create the rosters to match the ethnicity/height/weight/numbers/ability of players on most major teams -- and yes, they do give MSU the shaft -- but accurate rosters are the least of my concerns with a new NCAA Football release. Unless you're playing random online games -- why you would subject yourself to that misery is another matter -- the default rosters are irrelevant.

Doesn't matter at all its just kinda funny to see how we are perceived.
ND, FSU and Michigan are overrated as always. I'm used to that. Also think its hilarious how Wisconsin is a 99 overall.
EA does purposely make the rosters inaccurate so they don't get sued. Started a few years ago when the first lawsuit appeared.
Gholston IS ON THE GAME!
Listed as a RE
#2 6'7" 275
He's listed as our 15th best player 84 overall.
easports.com/teambuilder has all of the roster...some people have even made MSU named rosters
Gholston is ranked behind the following players
Dan Conroy - K #4 - 92 overall
Denicos Allen- ROLB #28 - 91 overall
Le'Veon Bell - HB #24 - 90 overall
Max Bullough - MLB #40 - 88 overall
Chris McDonald - RG #62 - 87 overall
Dan France - LT #59 - 87 overall
Andrew Maxwell - QB #10 - 86 overall
Johnny Adams - CB #5 - 85 overall
Larry Caper - HB #22 - 85 overall
Blake Treadwell - LG #64 - 85 overall
Marcus Rush - LE #44 - 85 overall
Fou Fonoti - RT #51 - 85 overall
Anthony Rashad White - DT #98 - 84 overall
Nick Hill - HB #20 - 84 overall
Then Big Willie.........What a fucking joke.
Ya, I'll be waiting for a full roster for every team before I download any.
This is pretty much old news. Team Builder has been out for a while and there's been a video of our entire roster out for about a month.
Personally, I always get rosters from someone that names them and edits them all, then I go through and make what I feel are proper adjustments for all the Big Ten teams (based on my own knowledge, last year's All-Big Ten teams, preseason all-big ten teams, etc, etc, etc). By the time I actually start my own dynasty, the Big Ten looks pretty accurate and I don't really worry too much about other conferences since I know a whole lot less about them. Sometimes I go through and adjust non-conference opponents (I always try to properly adjust ND, I'll double check Boise State this year. I'll probably look a little into USF since I know they're on the schedule for 2013 and accurate rosters going into this season will make it more realistic for year 2 of my dynasty), but that's about it. It makes the Big Ten as accurate as I can make it and that's what I care about most.
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
Ah must have missed those post. My bad.
Just got the early release down load and started laughing at half of the shit on here.
Also, something to consider here about Gholston that might explain an outsiders approach when rating him: Last year he had 6 games with 0 tfl's, 8 games where he had no sacks, and 9 games with 5 or fewer tackles. While WE all know what a beast he is and his Outback Bowl performance should have put him on the map, just on stats alone, he looks like a hit or miss player and NCAA has a hard time rating guys like that (He's not the only underrated player in the game). Luckily, we all know better and can adjust ratings before starting online or offline dynasties. If you couldn't re-rate players, this would be a much bigger deal.
Personally, I also feel a huge travesty is Bell's spin rating. Dude has one of the best spin moves in college football and uses it and ridiculous times.
Yeah, the first 4 pages here discuss it and so do a bunch of posts over on IGN and Operation Sports
Know anyone with rosters out yet?
Most the time they take a few days, just figured with the team builder and such didn't know if there was a full rosters out early.
Don't play this online and I'm sure sure the Operation Sports rosters will be more reasonable so not that big a deal. Madden gameplay is always so much better, just wait for that to go online.
I haven't been keeping up with the game this year due to continuous let downs. Anything new with dynasty? I see they added another pointless mode that no one will play in that Heisman thing. Dynasty is the only reason people buy the game, just ignore it.
Playing this game now. They gave Will Gholston long dreadlocks a la Denard in the game. Clearly someone had a vendetta somewhere in there.
UM's D is rated higher than MSU's in the game
In the first week of my dynasty I saw that UM beat Alabama 45-14
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
Do you have the realism slider turned off?
