"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Yeah. Tell me Green Bay-Seattle was any worse than the lack of overturn on the punt that hit a Houston player, or magically changed direction in mid air, and the intial call on Forsett's TD.
The ridiculous rule about the challenge was just salt in the wound.
Those refs were so bad they aren't even qualified to work in the BIG.
So what if the Lions had tackled the Houston runner on the 1 yard line. Are they telling us there is no way they can review what could be a 60 yard screw up.

it back asswards.
Had Forsett been tackled on the 1 yard Schwartz could have challenged the play.
the NFL front office morons keep screwing up the game. How can it be more important to penalize a coach than getting a call right? The ref should have told him to pick up the flag like I've seen happen countless times.
at worst for the Lions it should have been a 15 yard penalty, but the play STILL should have been corrected.
The NFL is screwing the pooch. Nobody knows what pass interference is. Nobody knows what a simple catch is.
And none of that would have happened if the zebras called either roughing the passer or PI on the play before. Clearly was PI on one of the lions the play before the big run.
A simple "Sorry, coach, you can't challenge the play, kindly pick up your flag" would be fine in my book.
The apologists on CBS said the rule, in part, is to discourage delay of game.
Again, it would be real tough to give a delay warning followed by a tech (penalty) like the NBA.
It is more than for that. Coaches had started challenging plays that can be reviewed just to yell at officials and make a statement. So they put this rule in place. Schwartz should have known the rule. However, the blown call was one of the most egregious blown calls ever.
True ... a fifteen yard penalty is MORE than enough to discourage out of control red flag throwing.
It still doesn't excuse the fact that they allowed a HORRIBLE TD to stand.
They still only get 2 challenges, right.
So twice a game potentially the coach could have a free yell at a ref.
If this is a real problem the NFL refs are a bunch of vagines.
Go do a game at the Kohl Center and have Bo Ryan do that every play for 40 minutes.
