Jay-Z just signed him and a world tour is coming
Now that's a creative excuse.
eh, if he wasn't willing to put 100% into football from the start, then he probably wouldn't have been able to make a real impact as a player.
don't hate on the kid for wanting to take a shot as his passion (which was not football apparently).

When a kid changes his mind and decides to commit to another school, I might criticize them initially out of frustration, but I generally won't rip on them too hard because kids change their minds, and have a right to do so. The worst part is that Jay Harris' HS, Downington East, is nowhere near West Philidelphia, robbing us of many HILARIOUS Fresh Prince jokes.
I found his "hit" single on YouTube. The song is shitty and the whole video is pretty much just him smoking weed.
Here's his video

"Brent Petway didn't know the University of Michigan had a music school until his junior year"
AN ATHLETE'S PERSPECTIVE: BRENT PETWAY BOISE, IDAHO - Brent Petway didn't know the University of Michigan had a music school until his junior year. And the basketball player from 2003 to 2007 still wonders why his adviser in Michigan's Academic Success Program never told him about it.
