Makes sense. Makes a Nebraska vs well known team (MSU, OSU, PSU, umaa) BT Championship a very high probability. All about TV.
With our luck the 3 teams we would play from the other division would be Wisky, Neb, and I guess Iowa. Yeah, I couldn't think of 3 powers from that division, only 2. While the West has 4.
I still have a hard time believing they didn't even it out more. I guess you could put Northwestern in the upper tier as well, because they have taken down some powers in the past.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
What fucking recruits brah?! Do you honestly think that we can recruit against teams in this conference that are literally buying their players?
We are about to find out how it feels to be Arkansas in SEC West. Where is the fucking balance?
Also eliminates some good matchups.
This is equivalent to putting us in the Midwest Region with Louisville and Duke, how do you like dem apples?
I approve of this message.
Is that more or less persuasive than back to back ten wins seasons and a conference title and appearance in the title game?
BHIF out recruited us in the state and we still only pulled in an OK class after out two best seasons in my lifetime.
So competition hasn't been good in the last 20+ years? Cause that's how long it's been since a Rose Bowl. Face it, we are not elite and never will be. Hell, Northwestern, Purdue, and Illinois have all been to a Rose Bowl since us.
Competition doesn't bring success. Winning does. If competition brought it, Arkansas would be winning super bowls.

"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
With that attitude we never will be. I think that's part of the reason we have issues with things. We have some good swagger in the program but I think that today's recruiting environment requires more of that cockiness that would be needded to truly be elite. ( except not arrogant)
SIAP but reminds me of the imbalance in the original B12
Maybe the two divisions should be called the Stud and Dud Divisions. With this proposed alignment everyone in the country will know which division you are talking about.
We got fucked so hard. Fuck whoever put these divisions together. What a bunch of shit.
Thank god. This is how it should have been in the first place.
Yeah, let's completely leave divisions unbalanced.
OSU and UM shouldn't be in the same division, and adding PSU to that makes it even worse.
Just think of the years when we have to play Wisconsin and/or Nebraska in crossover in addition to the division games with scUM, OSU and PSU
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
It isn't. Selling your schedule to recruits is basically saying "come here because we play winning programs". I'd rather tell recruits "come here because we are a winning program".
Beaver Stadium - 106,572
Ohio Stadium - 102,329
big hole - 109,901
Spartan Stadium - 75,005
If you don't think the extra 31,567, 27,324 or 34,896 in additional ticket sales per game don't create a recruiting advantage within the division I will have to respectfully disagree.
Right, because it's his decision

Oh God... who would want to see those games? Oh yeah, everyone. Grow a pair.
If this truly ends up being the divisions, I really like it. I watch or attend every MSU football game but I certainly look forward to certain games more than others. Definitely prefer being in the stronger of the two divisions.
My only disappointment is the reduced frequency of playing @ Northwestern. Easy to catch those games when they're in your backyard......
You have to WIN those games. Not just play in them. Don't just be happy to be there.
Yea, it's all his fault!
Wow, the posters in this thread are a bunch of WHIMPS!.
Bring on the scum-suckers, the Buck$nuts, the NittyKitties and the rest. MSU is back you twits.... TIme to recreate the past.... It's OUR Decade and Century!!!
Nίκη για MSU
I'm just trying to be realistic. MSU is not a better program than OSU, UM, or PSU. Those are just facts. Don't be a homer.
