breaking news, eh?
Terrible story. Guy must have had a screw loose. Can't remember something like this happening right in the middle of the season.
Eh, he was a stiff anyways.
So do they play the totally meaningless game at home against the Panthers tomorrow?

Yeah, me too. I read the ash liz post in this thread and was deeply impacted by it and then I read the wiki quote.
I went from seriousness somber face, to "wait, what?" inquisitive looking face, to "that is funny!" looking around to see if anyone else is laughing, to leaving the room to laugh my ass off.
OMFG...how shameful of me.
Only a matter of time before some asshole blames this on concussions.

My buddy told me he was benched last week.
Thank god he didn't shoot Pioli or Crennel. Very easily could have.
I think there was a bigger issue occurring.
what the ****ing ****.
@JasonLaCanfora: Chiefs are shocked, Belcher had no history of anything like this, seen as a good kid, close to Crennel. he recently had child w/girlfriend..
We are not the same, I am a Spartan
At 7:50 a.m. police received a call to respond to a shooting at the 5400 block of Crysler Ave., and when they arrived "a lady informed us her daughter had been shot multiple times by her boyfriend," Snapp said. The victim was rushed to the hospital and died "a short time later," Snapp said. Snapp said the victim's mother told police her daughter's boyfriend was a current Chiefs player.
At 8:10 a.m., Snapp said, police got a call that a party was armed with a gun in the parking lot of the Chiefs' practice facility at Arrowhead Stadium. Snapp said the description of this suspect matched that of the description of the shooter at the Crysler Ave. location. So at that point, Snapp said, police "kind of knew what was going on."
A 25-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player shot his girlfriend early Saturday, the drove to Arrowhead Stadium and turned the gun on himself as two team officials were confronting him, police said.
holy sheep shit.....that's fucked UP

According to KCPD, Scott Pioli, Romeo Crennel talked with the player before he shot himself. He thanked them. "They didn't feel in danger."
well, that pretty much confirms it: now the kid grows up with no parents.......so damn sad. I don't understand the thinking of a guy like this. No matter what she did: cheat on him, stole from him, whatever it was can be resolved one way or the other. Just so senseless.........
Yeah, fuckin A.
and a thousand to one chance of being true...
Don't worry, on the RCMB - death warrants jokes and comedy....but if someone has a seizure keep your damn mouth shut.
no doubt Turf....I just meant it's completely effed up for someone to post that on the guys wiki page. I mean, he murdered his GF and left their child without parents. Makes me wonder if people were jaded attention whores like this BEFORE the internet
I've already seen it on Twitter
generally no, there was no way to get an audience of millions back then...
