@willbrinson: Chiefs announce tomorrow’s game against Panthers will be played as scheduled
A friend of the woman killed today by Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher said the couple argued in the early morning hours after the woman was out late attending Friday’s Trey Songz concert at The Midland. The friend, who asked not to be identified, said Belcher confronted his girlfriend when she returned home about 1 a.m. The couple had dated about three years and argued frequently, the friend said, but she wasn’t aware of any prior physical abuse.

Because Scott Pioli is a flaming bag of fecal douche (and their owner Clark Hunt isn't much better)
"Those fans are in for a world of hurt...they've never gone up against a premium message board fan base like ours."-Vim
You are off your rocker.
Because one person murdered someone, pulled the most selfish act one can pull by committing suicide, leaving his child without a parent, and forcing others to deal with his carnage for years, the rest of the World should stop?
Things need to go on as planned and forget this person even existed.
For the record, regardless of KC cancelling or not cancelling Sunday's game, Scott Pioli is still a flaming bag of Nucky Thompson-level fecal douche.
That was not the point of the post I replied to, but I do agree on Pioli.
I do have empathy for Pioli having to witness this though.
i believe i read on msn that it was BELCHERS mother who found the woman (who she referred to as "her daughter"/ obviously felt pretty close to her sons girlfriend to call her that)
this lead to alot of initial confusion for the police.
you can check me on this, but that is what i read.
That's a good call. As tragic as this event was, it is wasn't something that rose to the level of forcing a game to be canceled.
That is correct. Belcher's Mother was visiting from New York, and staying with them.
So what are the chances it isn't even Belcher's child?
Irrelevant right now. Child lost his Mother. A 3 month old child, who didn't deserve this.
It wouldn't condone Belcher's act of murder/suicide, but to call what COULD be the very reason this tragedy occurred in the first place, "irrelevant", is naive to say the least
Where's the post for bow and knife control?
"More grisly details of the horrific murder-suicide in Wyoming came to light Saturday, a day after the younger man killed his father's live-in girlfriend and then barged into his father's computer science class and shot him in the head with a high-powered bow and arrow."
A Wyoming community college instructor killed in a grisly classroom murder-suicide was hailed as a hero Saturday, with police saying he gave his students time to flee by distracting and fighting off his son after the younger man barged into his computer science class and shot him in the head with a high-powered bow and arrow.
Kansas City police now telling KC media members that Jovan Belcher shot his girlfriend NINE times -- all in front of his mother.
I love how Tom Jackson repeatedly called him a murderer on live tv. Kudos.
This country was built by people who worked hard then went home and had just a few too many every night. Then went back to work.
Saw that earlier. Very strong for a normally mild mannered man. He was 100% correct but what we don't know is what was going through Belcher's mind. No one in their right mind does such a thing. What a tragedy.
Doesn't change the fact he's a murderer.
my bad on screwing up...it was indeed Belchers' mom, NOT his girlfriend's. As for Tom Jackson: kudos in a big way. I don't watch espn (except when MSU plays) but restores my faith that someone at espn still has balls. Shot her nine times huh? POS sociopath for sure.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's found out that he had a form of CTE.

What's he care? He's dead.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Irrelevant does apply since what you post is pure speculation on your part.
What isn't speculation or irrelevant right now is a 3 month old lost her Mother, and two Mothers lost their children.
And Bob Costas uses Sunday night football as his personal platform...Fail
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Tom should also have added "coward" to his description of Belcher.
I read the news today, oh boy .. ..
About a lucky man who made the grade
Kudos to Tom Jackson for using the proper term to describe this guy.
I was appalled to listen to ESPN continue to interview Belcher's teammates/past teammates and not get one statement from the teammate/former teammate disavowing Belcher for the piece of stool murderous prick he is and not one using the platform to support the family/friends of the woman Belcher MURDERED.
Yeah, he should be fired, but then I realized its NBC. No one gives a flying fvck about your whackjob personal opinion on gun control, Mr. Costas. This is why no one watches the mainstream media networks anymore.
Welp, time for Wells
