I've watched ISU play two games this year and they lost both in the most gut wrenching way imaginable.
EFF OSU. Luckiest team ever. Hope they flame out against 'Zona.
Sparty > Walverines
Terry Hutchens @indystar_hutch 3m
It's a final. 78-75 Ohio State. Korie Lucious skipped the handshake and went straight to the locker room for Iowa State.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Don't blame him. I wouldn't shake that scum bag Craft's hand either after playing him and cheating Matta. Craft is the worlds biggest poosay. The kind of person who can't take a punch so they scratch, slap and bite instead.
Bill Self told his team prior to playing ISU in the B12 tourney "They beat us twice this year, but we escaped with the W - don't sleep on these guys". BOTH games against KU were stolen from ISU by the refs. They were just awful. So bad that the conference actually released a statement apologizing to ISU after the 2nd one.
I wouldn't shake Craft's hand either, might catch gay.
Terry Hutchens sucks at life.
Like I said...they are as physical as MSU is and get the benefit of the doubt way more than we do.
korie lost the game for them, he had 5 turnovers by himself
I know I certainly don't put this man's opinion on a pedestal, but here's Pomeroy's take.
Ken Pomeroy @kenpomeroy
You never know what would have happened after the call, but Craft should have been called for a block by rule.
That game was stolen from the cyclones. Who cares if Korie skipped the line, bad sportsmanship sure, but If my team had a game stolen from them like that I wouldn't want to shake that choad Crafts hand either. Also Korie isn't going to work at enterprise rent a car douche he should have a good career playing overseas, and if he smokes away his salary then he might have too. Charles is actually right for once call out the officials.
Barkley got something right? Holy shitballs!
Your a retard.
Total BS. They had the friendly whistle because it was in Dayton and Matta probably gave away cash handshakes beforehand. Cheating douchebags.
Barkley makes sense for the first time this tournament.
Location: Mumbai, India
Don't need some mega nerd with a formula to tell us that. We all have eyeballs.
So glad Chuck called out the refs.
Come on man, don't be all sanctimonious. You know the recruiting money flows there as well. Maybe not as much as Kentucky or OSU football, but it's there.
it's sad in college hoops.....if your a white kid who hustles and trys hard you get the benefit of the doubt every damn time. Whether it is Craft, Kramer when he as at Purdue, McGumps, Novak...it never ends
Someone has to. I just wish a coach or someone who isn't primarily a moron would.
And 19 points, 4 assists.
Some of you guys are hating on Korie for no reason.
Props to Charles for saying what needed to be said about that horrid charge call. ISU got robbed twice vs. KU, and now this. Their fans have to be pretty scarred by now.
If that's true, then the rule is even more flawed than I thought. The point of the area is to define when a player is too close to the basket physically, not whether a defenders foot is touching the line as if its a three or a boundary.
Oh by the way, if an official is looking at a player's foot to determine whether he's outside the area, he's also not looking where he needs to in order to determine the actual charge call (the offensive player's body relative to the defender's).
