6. I wanna say 7-8 ish but with the home cooking and this being a rivalry game, you never know.
I know better than to post in a thread like this.
I'm at about 7.5 that you guys beat us.
Normally I would think a team that just lost to a team like PSU would come out pissed off. I just don't see it with this team.
5 (50/50). About the same as I did going into the Ohio State game. Really happy that Izzo and the team have a much needed week to prepare and get rest. I think UM will be ready to play and they will be at home. They just beat Illinois at home after they won 5 in a row by 14. I know they lost to PSU but they were cruising by 15 and choked. Just trying to be realistic. Would love a Spartan beatdown in AA to quiet their piss-yellow fans for good!
that's just your post-meltdown opinion. should be a close game
laying in the weeds
I agree with this. 6 is as high as I can go with all the high-jinx that's possible in AA.
Spartans in a close one.
Actually, I had OSU at about a 9, as I figured we'd check, and they'd struggle to get 55 if we did, and M at 7.5 or so.
Seeing us lay down on D in the second half moves M to a 5.5 for me.
And like the Donaghy crack, I expect at least 5 charges, as falling down is really M's only way to defend the paint.
Given that it's a rivalry game, and you lost to us 2 weeks ago in humiliating fashion (so revenge was already a high factor), just how much difference would it make if they came out pissed because of PSU? With everything else that is at stake, and in play, I don't see the PSU loss as a factor.
My Blood Runs Green.....
The correct answer is 10.
THEN, if the IMPOSSIBLE happens, it can be attributed to the officiating.
Greatest comedy movie of all time.
Quiet their fans for good? A Michigan "Fan" could have his jaw wired shut, and be in a room with 5 teenage girls, and he would still be the loudest and most annoying person in the room.

I'm at a 7. What's the line on this game?
Except you forget they still only have B____ as their coach and are lacking leadership on the floor.
I say even if MSU doesn't come out as strong as last time, as long as MSU plays focused there's no physical way scum can match up. 8/10
4. This will probably be a much closer game than the first one, and UM plays better at home. Crowd will be into it unless our guys get a quick start and keep a lead. I really hope a week's rest helps Appling regain his defensive mojo.
I actually agree with Bob.
The PSU game was an anomaly. The MSU game showed the team has no guts.
10 son. We ain't losing to a bunch of pussies.
The half court shot in Wisconsin game broke them...
I'm so confident, I'd bet your wife on it.
I'm at about an 8. Remember, we did not play a flawless game vs. UM the first time around. Keith had 11 pts on terrible shooting and 1 assist. We played well, and UM played poorly, but it wasn't like you could look at that game and feel like the team played its best game possible.
Second point is that I think the OSU game was our only "bad" game. We played ok vs. Indiana. A couple of made free throws or better decisions at key moments in the last couple minutes, and we win that game. Again, like vs. UM, we didn't play great by any stretch of the imagination. But it's not like we were embarrassed.
Vs. OSU, I feel like there was a bit of a defensive melt-down in the second half. Definitely not a good game, especially defensively. And yet we only lost by 8 on the road to a top-4 B1G team.
I think if you look at our team over the course of the B1G season, we have steadily been getting better but are playing nowhere near our potential. We had back-to-back ok/mediocre games against two top teams in the league, and lost both of them. That doesn't change who we are, fundamentally. And who we are is markedly better than who UM is.
It's not a 10/10 -- UM is still a decent team, they'll be playing at home, they'll be fired up, and if they hit a lot of 3s early on they can be formidable. But I don't think there's an extremely high chance that happens.
And even better is the fact that the DVD commentary is just as funny, if not funnier than the movie, if you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY suggest it.
Repeating, of course.
10! 10! 10! 10! 10!
This was my confidence level the first time around as well!!

The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare.
No dude, that line is from Spinal Tap. It was a rockumentary.
