I'm sure Jim Delaney will get to the bottom of this blatant attempt of murder.
Smells like Lafayette up in this thread.

Wow! That was indeed a punch straight to the face. He gone!
That looks to me like eye-gouging. I've seen this kind of thing before and I'm sure the Big Ten will take care of the matter.
After reviewing the tape, I had decided to suspend Derrick Nix for 2 games for his egregious actions

This better go national.
The video doesn't look good although I have a feeling it was unintentional. Hopefully they review it for a week and suspend him for 2/12.
Contrarian post about Valentines elbow in ... 3.... 2....1
They can suspend them all they want but lets not do it during the game on 2/12, I don't want any of their dumb fanbase saying we only whipped them because he wasn't playing. I want to beat them full strength!

Davis and Dakich have both raised the question.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
After his poor shooting performance, he wanted to prove he could hit something.
People are claiming Watford "pushed" GRIII's arm? If his arm was pushed, there's no way it would cause MORE momentum as the his arm continued to swing. That's a punch. Period!
Definitely a punch right to the face.
Forgive my obsession, but I posted a thread about it on the UM 247 board entitled, "Attempt of Murder"
Wow, that was pretty bad, and appeared intentional. I doubt anything comes of it though.
Looks debatable, but there's actual contact unlike the Dawson "punch" where he never even touched Carroll. I don't think any player is stupid enough to intentionally punch a player in the face and think they'll get away with it
email campaign!!! attempt of murder!
Before we resort to Purdue tactics, is there another angle to review? hard to tell with all the other players between the camera man and the "incident"
A Spartan Today, A SPARTAN FOREVER. Through thick and thin, low and high water I strive to be the best Spartan ever.
Doesn't seem debatable to me--looking at GRIII's head, it's turned towards the basket and I'm dead certain he had no idea Hulls was even there. Looking at the under-basket video, I see his fist moving towards Hull's head before he even starts turning his head towards Hulls. Unless Robinson has fisheye vision and ferret-like reflexes, I think it's totally unintentional. Still a flagrant that they missed though.
(their board, very soon)
Watford made him do it.

Wow. That is much clearer. Looks bad.
the baseline shot looks way worse than the tv broadcast
If they looked at the replay.... May be they didn't miss it??
looks like robinson is pulling his arm away from watford. his arm is definately not pushed into the indiana player, but is also doesnt look like he intended to punch the guy.
The result, however, is a pretty forceful punch to the face of the Indiana player.
