I have to agree with this.
Well...yeah. Wouldn't you? Not exactly the pinnacle of sportsmanship and doing the right thing, but I wouldn't stop and apologize for it either during a basketball game.
Right, because you never know when some dude is going to run into the path of your fist while you're trying to untangle from another dude's arms. That's ridiculous.
It should have been called a foul on the floor, but it wasn't, and now we should all move on.
Oh, and f*** Michigan just the same.
Even if it wasn't intentional, he should still sit one game because you can't just punch somebody in the face.
The NCAA takes shots to the head very seriously lately. He deserves a suspension. He didn't even see if the guy was OK and just ran up the court.
I fucking hate them....guranteed this doesnt go national even though it should
To die in ann arbor is redundant
This. Once you see it, it's perfectly clear.
Nothing to see here. Move along...
Then they need to retroactively hand out thousands of suspensions, because this is the sort of thing that happens all the time in sports that involve human beings with functioning limbs.
Either way Dakich is convinced it's a punch so you know that's all he will be talking about tomorrow night during the UM/OSU game.
I think a flagrant 1 foul can be called, and not be "intentional". I don't think in this case they could have called a flagrant 2 foul (which would have resulted in his ejection I believe).
yeah you cant let someone off just because they said "it wasnt on purpose"
I don't blame GRIII for this at all.
Jordan Hulls has the most punchable face in CBB by far. It was just an automatic reflex.
Playing with clenched fists may explain his shooting and ball handling issues.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
The thing about this situation that could bother me is that if this was an MSU player, the media would report first, and ask questions later. There would be articles like: "MSU player-X punched IU player-y in the face, Suspension looming?" and the after more info came out, they MIGHT post a second article explaining that it was likely an accident.
He is lying. His arm is not "pushed". He rips his arm away because heaven forbid somebody else touch his precious arm and he ended up punching another player.
At least get your story straight before you run to the twitters.

Glenn Robinson III @GRob_1
OMG. Trey Burke is such a ball hog.
Seriously. Suspend that thug for punching someone directly in the face. You have to control your body. I'd love to see that murdering thug suspended so that team of cheating and murdering thugs loses at home to OSU.
Off with his head!
Biggest sports tragedy since Brandon Wood was granted eligibility to play basketball at MSU.
I don't care if he punched or him not, gets suspended or not. I just want the national controversy.
This here is the correct answer. A bogus suspension would make this scenario even better. We need the Indiana fans to write a LOT of letters.
We need this to go international and be a bigger story than soccer match fixing.
Seems to be unintentional.
Which means it should have been a flagrant foul, but no suspension.
Robinson probably hurt u of m more while in the game, as terrible as he shot the ball.
Hell, that punch was the only thing Robinson connected on all game.
I blame Hulls for having a very punchable face.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
In the other view, it looks like he reacts to Hull touching touching him by swinging without thinking.
